NOTE: This form is for those NOT Lake Como residents or members who will be 36 years old or older on the run date, April 12, 2026:

• If you are a Lake Como resident or Lake Como resort member, do not use this form but use the form at https://form.jotform.com/lakecomonaturally/dtgb-members.

PREREQUISITE TO REGISTERING ONLINE: Lake Como is a private club and maintains itself as a safe space for members and guests. We are requiring that all run participants have a Lake Como background check on file.

AS A PRELIMINARY TO FILLING OUT THIS REGISTRATION FORM: Please phone the Lake Como office at 813-949-1810 ext. 0 (seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm Eastern) to obtain a Background Check File Number. You will be required to enter the file number below on this form. If you have visited the resort recently, we may have the number on file and can give it to you immediately. If not, we will take the information from you for the background check. It may take up to 48 hours to complete the check.

If you are bringing a guest not participating in the run or walk, but accompanying you - spouse or significant other - you will also need to get a Background Check File Number for your guest.

Your registration allows you to participate in the 5K run, the 2K walk, or both events. The registration fee is $40 for registration made up to midnight March 8, 2026, and thereafter $50 up to registration close date April 6, 2026. No registrations will be accepted at the event.

Please note:

• Event partiicpants should arrive for check-in between 7:30 am and 8:45 am. Entry to the resort will be closed at 8:45 am before the run.
• A photo ID is required for admission: driver's license or other government ID
• The 5K run starts at 9:00 am
• The 2K walk starts at 10:00 am
• The award ceremony is at 11:00 am for both run & walk.
• Fee includes complimentary full resort access for event participant plus one guest.

We'll reserve a tee shirt for you if you register by March 8, 2026, as we'll be ordering shirts then. We'll be ordering some extras by guessing attendance based on past runs, but if you register after March 8, there is a possiblity we may run out. Tee shirt sizes are male sizes. 

If you plan on bringing a guest, please enter his/her Background Check File Number and name below. One guest may accompany each runner at no extra charge.

Refund Policy: The event will take place rain or shine. In the unlikely event the run is canceled by Lake Como, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, your entry cancelation & fee refund (less a $5 processing fee) may be requested up to 7 days before the run, up to midnight Sunday April 6, 2026, by emailing request with attendee name (and name on credit card, if different) to: marketing@lakecomonaturally.com.

Waiver of Liability: In consideration of this entry, I, for myself, my heirs, devises, executors, administrators and assigns hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims against the event organizers and sponsors, including but not limited to Lake Como Co-op, Inc., or their members, employees, representatives, or successors, for any and all damages or injuries I may suffer participating in this event.

Note that we will have a list of paid registrants at the event and the receipt is not required for entry, but we recommend that you bring the receipt either on paper or your cell phone.
