LITTLE LAMBS PLAYGROUND
You are invited to apply for a volunteer position for the Linn County Lamb and Wool Fair Little Lambs Playground!
If you are a teen or adult who resides within or around the Scio community, you are invited to apply to be a part of the Little Lamb Playground Volunteer Program. All applicants must submit their applications by April 10th, 2026. There will be a mandatory parent/volunteer meeting on April 24th, 2026, in addition to a mandatory safety meeting on May 1st, 2026.
All applicants must:
Be currently enrolled in High School, graduated from High School, or equivalent.
Submit a completed application by April 10th
Attend the mandatory parents/volunteers meeting on April 24th, the mandatory safety meeting on May 1st, and both the Friday and the Saturday of the Linn County Lamb and Wool Fair weekend.
To ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants, part of our volunteer screening process includes reviewing publicly accessible social media accounts of those above the age of 18. This helps us understand the applicant's interests and ensure alignment with our values. We are committed to maintaining privacy and confidentiality throughout this process.
All applicants over the age of 18 are subject to a background check. We also will be taking pictures of the event and a group photo off all the volunteers for future announcements, these will be used on official Lamb and Wool Fair socials and the website.
