  • Media Release

    There are many activities and accomplishments that take place which Laraway School District feels are positive, newsworthy and of interest to the community. District representatives and club sponsors will, from time to time, use still photography or videography for the purpose of highlighting student achievements or chronicling classroom/school activities. Those images may be used in informational newsletters, school brochures, class pictures, yearbooks, and other printed material published by the Laraway CCSD 70C and those acting under its permission. It is possible that those images might be used on school and/or district websites and social media, and may also be submitted to the news media for possible publication.

  • Registration Policies

  • 1. Review the club information below, paying close attention to eligible grade levels and meeting days.

    2. SELECT the club(s) your student will attend. Students may sign up for a maximum of two per day.

    3. The maximum enrollment for each club varies. Once the maximum enrollment has been reached, your student will be placed on a WAITLIST.

    4. You will receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL after completing this online form. Additional information will be sent home by club sponsors prior to the first meeting.

    5. Once clubs have begun, students are expected to maintain GOOD CLUB ATTENDANCE. Poor attendance will result in them being dropped from the club roster to allow a waitlisted student to attend.

    6. Club meeting dates, sponsors, admission criteria, etc. are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Sponsors will do their best to communicate any changes as soon as possible.

    In case of a medical emergency/illness/injury that occurs while participating in school sponsored activities, when I cannot be contacted at the phone numbers listed above, I GIVE MY PERMISSION for the school staff/club sponsor to use their best judgment in seeking emergency medical treatment for my student.  I am the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the above named student.  I have read, and understand, the information above.  I understand that clubs and activities can involve many risks of injury and agree to hold Laraway Community Consolidated School District 70C harmless from any liability, actions, causes of actions, debts, claims or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever which may arise by or in connection with the participation of my student in any sport or activity.  I assume all responsibility and certify that my student is in good physical health and is capable of participation in the club/activity program.
