Young Adults & Volunteerism in Ontario

Young Adults & Volunteerism in Ontario

How can local service clubs, charities, non-profits, and event organizers create volunteer opportunities that work for young adults? We’re asking 18-to-30-year-olds across Ontario to share their experiences, whether you volunteer regularly, occasionally, or not at all. Partnering with Ledge Leadership and the Community Resource Team, we’ll use these insights to help organizations modernize volunteering and build collaborative leadership.

Thank you for giving our generation a voice!

Your insights are the foundation of something much bigger. We are currently in the Data Collection & Research phase, gathering real-world input to understand the exact gaps facing young adults and local organizations today.

    Where This Is Heading
Your feedback will directly shape an Actionable Volunteer Remodeling Toolkit designed for service clubs, non-profits, charities, and event hosts across Ontario. This toolkit will equip organizations to:

    1. Reframe and modernize their recruitment strategies for today’s climate.
    2. Identify and bridge organizational gaps that hold young adults back from getting involved.
    3. Shift the volunteer paradigm from transactional time-giving to high-value relational growth.
