Get Involved - Worship

The purpose of this application is to gather some basic information as a first step for your possible involvement in the Life Church worship community. We hope to learn about your musicianship background and skills, as well as your heart for the Lord and for worship.

At Life Church, we put a high priority on worship and also have a high standard for our musicians. We are looking for strong musicians, but we are also looking for those with a servant’s heart and a passion for the Lord. By nature of leading worship, we are setting an example and being leaders in our community whether we intend to or not.

That being said, we encourage all team members to participate in one or more of the Wholeness Ministries at Life Church (i.e. Life Change, SOZO, Time Line, Healing Rooms, etc.) These ministries help keep our heart and attitude healthy and enable us to maintain a strong connection with the Lord.

Please submit two musical recordings of yourself below. For the first recording, choose ONE of the songs to play as designated below for your chosen instrument. For the second recording, you may play a song of your choice.

For example, if you are applying to be a keyboard player, you’d record yourself playing the keyboard part for “We Will Not Be Shaken” or “You Came (Lazarus).” The second recording can be of you playing any song you choose. These two recordings can be submitted with this application in the section below. If you still need to record them or they do not fit then send them via email at worship@lifechurchsalem.com.

If you need assistance acquiring lead sheets or chords sheets for your songs or if you have general questions about the process, please contact Stephanie and she will be happy to help.
