Opening Time
Council rules are no vendors to open until after the Café Esplanade shuts i.e. 3pm.
Power leads
The vendor must supply all power leads and ensure they are tested and tagged.
Food License
Light Party requires vendors to display a copy of their current Certificate of Registration under the Food Act 2014.
Sustainability
Light Party seeks to be environmentally sustainable and encourage vendors to minimise waste and use compostable products.
Audio/visual
As it may interfere with event activities, the use of sound amplification equipment must be approved by Light Party.
Equipment responsibility
Light Party cannot take responsibility for equipment. Although the site will be monitored, security is the vendor’s responsibility. It is expected that vendors make their own arrangements for appropriate insurance cover, including third party, while at the event.
Standard of behaviour
Vendors are expected to maintain a level of behaviour which positively reflects on their organisation and Light Party. This includes being flexible and understanding of decisions, including each vendor's allocated location, as deemed best by Light Party given the restricted site size.
Understanding
Light Party is for one and all. It is a free event and there will be free food options available (sausage sizzle, etc).
As far as possible, you will need to be self-sufficient in terms of e.g. Water, electricity, etc.
Light Party does not collect commission from vendors. Similarly, Light Party cannot be held accountable should sale expectations not be met.
Council fee
Accepted vendors will need to pay a $27 council fee each. This term has been stipulated by PNCC. If you are accepted as a vendor, payment instructions will be provided and the council fee must be paid to confirm your attendance.
