PLEASE NOTE THAT PUPPY ACADEMY AND TEENAGE FUNDAMENTALS WILL RECOMMENCE IN JANUARY 2025
Little Angels Dog Training uses Force-Free Positive Reinforcement Games-based training methods.
Games-based dog training is a fun and effective method that uses playful activities to teach your dog new skills and behaviours. This approach taps into your dog's natural love for play, making learning more engaging and enjoyable for both of you. This positive, reward-based training method turns everyday interactions into opportunities for learning, making the training process more natural and less like work for you and your dog.
Please note that slip leads, extendable/retractable leads, prong, shock, martingale or head collars are not suitable Force-Free Positive Reinforcement training tools and may not be used at Little Angels Dog Training.
Terms and Conditions
Little Angels Dog Training (LADT) will make every reasonable effort to help you achieve training and behaviour goals but makes no guarantee of your dog’s performance or behaviour as a result of providing professional animal training and/or consultation.
You expressly acknowledge and understand that LADT’s services will be provided in an environment where certain hazards may exist, including, but not limited to, debris in the training area, other animals and their owners, training equipment, water, and other natural hazards. You expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless LADT, Penrith Veterinary Hospital and LADT’s agents, and to pay all losses and damages suffered or incurred, and to defend and indemnify LADT, Penrith Veterinary Hospital and LADT’s agents from any claims, demands, lawsuits, losses, costs or expenses, including legal fees, and medical expenses arising out of or in connection with the provision of LADT’s services to you and your dog including before, during and after your classes/consultation(s).
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledges that LADT has not represented, promised, guaranteed, or warranted that your dog will never bite, that your dog will not be dangerous, aggressive, reactive or vicious now, or in the future, that your dog will not exhibit other behavioural problems, or that the results of the training will last for any particular amount of time.
Payment
Payment in full is due at the time of booking your class/consultation. Your place in a class or consultation is not confirmed until full payment is received and you have received a confirmation email from LADT.
Puppy Academy and Teenage FUNdamentals Classes
Classes will have a maximum of 4 puppies and their Guardian. Due to space constraints pups can be accompanied by 2 people with one participating in the class and the other being an observer.
Parents Please Note: Children must be aged 12 years or older to attend the class, and for their own safety, may not participate in the training unless they are over 16 years old. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and may not approach other puppies in the class. An adult must always be in control of the puppy.
In-Home Consultations
In-Home consultations are available to Penrith Veterinary Hospital clients. Please contact LADT to make a booking. Dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations and be wearing a well fitting flat collar or harness and a leash duing training. In-Home Consultations are designed to assist with one dog only. Multi-dog households will incur an additional fee.
Your Veterinarian
We work in collaboration with your veterinarian to try to get the best outcome for you and your dog. If you have an In-home Consultation then we will write to your veterinarian to keep them updated on your dog's progress.
Reschedule/Cancellation Policy
If, for any reason, you need to reschedule or cancel a consultation or class then you should contact LADT as soon as possible.
Change of mind or giving advice more than 72 hours before your class/consultation will attract a full refund less a $25 administration fee.
Failure to attend Puppy Academy or Teenange FUNdamentals means that you forfeit your booking fee in full. Make up classes are available upon request and depend on a place being available in a future cycle of classes.
Your Dog's Health
If your dog is unwell then please do not attend your class. Being unwell not only affects your dog's ability to learn but also risks contagion of disease to other dogs who may share or use the same environment.
Puppies can attend face to face on site sessions 7 (seven) days after their 1st (first) vaccination. Please carry your pup from the car park to the training area.
Teenage and adult dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations.
Please be aware that Kennel Cough is highly contagious and can be compared to the human cold in its ability to transfer from one dog to another. Your dog may contract Kennel Cough even if they have received a vaccination. Please keep your dog at home and seek veterinary advice if you suspect Kennel Cough. LADT tries to ensure that sick dogs do not attend training but makes no guarantee that your dog will not develop Kennel Cough.
Privacy Policy
LADT complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We never sell or give your personal information to any other third party without your consent. All personal information collected is password protected and stored on a password protected device. By submitting this form you give consent for LADT to provide information to your veterinarian and agree to receive electronic communications and promotional and educational material via email and SMS from LADT. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Covid19 Policy
If attending face to face classes/consultation(s) it is expected that you will comply with all Public Health Orders in relation to Covid19. This may include but not be limited to, vaccination requirements, mask wearing, physical distancing, QR Codes/sign in, Covid19 testing and isolation in the event of a positive test.
Aggressive and Reactive Dogs
Many reactive dogs find a class environment too overwhelming. Failure to disclose that your dog is aggressive or reactive will mean that you may be asked to remove your dog from the class and you will forfeit your fee in full. For the safety of all involved it is very important that you disclose if your dog is aggressive or reactive. Don't panic! LADT will find another way to help you.
Photos and Videos
LADT photograph and/or video classes and consultations for professional development, educational and promotional purposes. By submitting this registration form you give LADT permission to photograph and video you and your dog and acknowledge that ownership of this media will be retained by LADT. We take a child's future rights to their digital footprint very seriously so we will never publish identifying photographs or video of children under 16.
Which Class Should I Choose?
As classes are booked up to month in advance you should calculate what your pup's age will be on the first day of the following month e.g. if your puppy will be 14 weeks or under on 1st of next month then you should book the Puppy Academy class, or if your puppy will be 15 weeks or over on 1st of next month then you should book the Teenage FUNdamentals class. If you accidently book into Puppy Academy when your pup is 15 weeks or older then you will be required to pay the difference before your classes commence.
