    Joins us as we explore the mysterious connection between Madaket Harbor and Long Pond. Did you know the Madaket Ditch was dug by hand almost 400 years ago? How, why, and by whom? Dr. Sarah Bois of LLNF will lead a tour of Long Pondand the Madaket ditch to Madaket harbor on the western end of the island. We will take participants through this important estuary from the North Head of Long Pond where it is the least salty, to Hither Creek (leading to Madaket Harbor) with stops along the way.
