2025 Scholarship Application

1. Submit a signed, completed application. 
2. Submit three (3) letters of recommendation. One must be from your high school guidance counselor.
3. Official high school transcript, including your SAT/ACT scores, should be mailed to the postal address below directly from your high school.
4. If SAT/ACT scores are not included on the transcript, a separate copy of your scores is required and should be mailed directly to the postal address below directly from the issuing body. Those planning to attend community college (without SAT/ACT scores) are also encouraged to apply.
5. If you've already been accepted to a college/university, upload a copy of the acceptance letter. 
6. A written essay stating why you feel you should be selected to receive this scholarship, the institution you will attend, how you will benefit from it, and your future aspirations is required.
7. A wallet-sized headshot photo of the student.
8. Submit a signed, completed W9.

For your application to be considered, you must submit a complete packet.

All finalists will be invited to an in-person interview with the Scholarship Committee on March 29, 2025.
 

You must fully apply online by the deadline of March 15, 2025. 

Official transcripts must be mailed to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Lambda Omega Omega Chapter P.O. BOX 778 Oakhurst, NJ 07755 and postmarked by March 15, 2025.

DO NOT SEND VIA CERTIFIED MAIL OR SIGNATURE REQUEST.

You can either complete the application and submit it in one sitting, or save your work and continue it at a later time.
