As an individual responsible for the operations of the enterprise listed and/or husbandry of the cattle, please indicate below whether you agree to comply with each requirement of the Greenham Dairy Beef Program. Please note if you ‘comply now’ or agree to ‘comply for any future calves’ you will be eligible for the program. 100% grassfed: cattle are not been fed grain or grain by products. A grain free calf starter with sufficient protein, energy and starch content must be used.
Lifetime traceable: cattle have NLIS tags and records demonstrating whole of life traceability
Lifetime antibiotic free: animals have been treated with antibiotics, including in milk replacer, lick blocks or feed (excludes those treated for illness / injury and tagged as "TREATED")
No added hormones: cattle are HGP-free and are not fed steroids
GMO-free: supplementary feed cannot contain genetically modified crops
Free range: animals are not confined for intensive feeding - once weaned, calves have continuous access to pasture
Certified Humane: pain relief is used at castration and disbudding/dehorning, the property does not euthanase any healthy calves on farm, calves are fed twice daily up to 3 weeks of age (min 4L daily total) and milk volume is increased to a minimum of 6L from 3-5 weeks of age.
Beef on Dairy genetics: cattle consigned under the program are at least 50% British, Euro or Wagyu beef breeds.
Meat Standards Australia (MSA) eligible: the property is MSA registered (register here - https://producer.msagrading.com.au/)
