2026 Food Vendor Booth Application and Contract

The Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival invites business and community organizations to participate in the 29th Water Festival on Saturday, August 15th, 2026 by being a food and non-alcoholic beverage vendor. The Water Festival attracts tens of thousands of people from all over the New England area, as well as, visitors from across the country and even the world.

We have limited the number of available food booths, including booths for plant and vegetable sellers. If you wish to take part in this event, please complete this Booth Request Form and Contract and submit by May 30, 2026. Vendor applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis within set categories. Once those initial slots are filled, additional applicants will be placed into a lottery system for any remaining spots. The Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival will not process incomplete applications. (Submitting a form DOES NOT guarantee admittance.)

LOTTERY DRAWING FOR FOOD VENDORS WILL TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 1, 2026.

ALL FOOD VENDORS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF LOTTERY SELECTION ON JUNE 1, 2026. Selected FOOD VENDORS will have 2 weeks to submit payment, after which, your booth reservation will be cancelled and passed on to another Vendor on the waiting list.

Applications received after June 1, 2026 may be considered at the discretion of the festival organizers and only if there are available food booths. Festival Committee reserves the right to reject any vendor, at their discretion.

Please note, that all vendors who are approved to sell at the Water Festival will still need approval from the City of Lowell's Health Department. The Festival Committee will coordinate all permitting and approvals directly with the City on behalf of All Festival Food Vendors. Any applications sent directly to the City will not be reviewed.

Generators require a fire permit and fire permit fees paid in advance. Fees are $45 paid to the Water Festival and sent on your behalf by the Water Festival team to the Lowell Fire Department.

Electricity is not provided. If you plan on having a generator on site, a permit is required. Will you need a fire permit for a generator?
