2026 Everyday Places Artists Partnerships Application

Barnes North is facilitating a series of partnerships between social-impact artists and "everyday places" around select North Philadelphia neighborhoods. These partnerships include: 4, four-month long engagements to be completed on-site with a neighborhood partner.

Artists and neighborhood places will be paired for the program by Barnes North staff. Social impact artists should submit a proposal with their partnership project idea. 4 artists will be selected. The program stipend includes:
- an artist stipend ($4,000)
- Supplies (up to $1,000)
- Other associated costs

Barnes North evaluates Everyday Places Artist Partnership proposals along the following criteria:
1. Artist rigor
2. Social impact
3. Cultural relevance
4. Cultural/physical accessibility
5. Authenticity

Note: We value proposals that are rooted in the artist/collective's lived experience, creative vision, and original expression. Applications should be written primarily by the artist. The use of generative AI to substantially create proposal content is discouraged, as it conflicts with our commitment to authenticity and creative integrity.
