• THE PROM: School Edition (MTTI)

Audition Form for Little Theater of Gastonia
  • Audition Information for THE PROM: SCHOOL EDITION

Please fill out the audition form below. Complete the form by scheduling your audition slot.

NOTE: This is for the MTTI (Musical Theatre Teen Intensive Program)

MTTI is only for teens 12-19 and is an intensive class, not a mainstage production. It will have an intensive rehearsal schedule and one weekend of shows. This is a tuition-based class that requires auditioning into the program. Payment is not required to audition but will be collected before receiving any parts in the show.

    WHAT'S CHANGED?

    • MTTI class no longer is gated to students who have fulfilled certain prerequisites at LTG and is moving to an audition-based program. Any student between the ages of 12-19 who is interested in participating may audition for the program.
    • Previous participation in MTTI, classes and/or camps does not guarantee a spot in the program - everyone must audition to be considered.
    • If accepted into the program, student's will be given the option to pay for their spot in the program and then audition and/or receive their role(s) within the production.
    • The cost of the program is $350 with a $50 credit if enrolled in any 2027 Spring class(es). Limited scholarship opportunities are available but not guaranteed.
    • Payment is only needed if a student is accepted into the program and not to audition.
    • Scripts for this production are digital and can be downloaded on personal devices such as cell phones, tablets, and laptops. This is so students are able to keep up with, as well as access, their materials as needed.
    • MTTI expects students accepted into the program to:
      • A: follow the intensive rehearsal schedule by attending class and working on lines, songs, and dances outside of rehearsals
      • B: understand that all roles are extremely important to the production and treat both their own role(s) but everyone else's role(s) with respect and import
      • C: Communicate with staff regularly if problems arise
