Applicant Acknowledgment and Consent Clause

By submitting this application, I, the undersigned applicant, acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding my application and potential employment with M3 Staffing [M3 Personnel Group (2013)]:

1. Data Use and Protection: I understand that M3 Staffing will collect, use, and store my personal information solely for the purpose of job placement within construction, office work, janitorial cleaning, and labor for moving companies. I consent to the sharing of my information with prospective employers for placement purposes. I acknowledge that M3 Staffing is committed to protecting my privacy and will handle my personal data in accordance with relevant data protection laws.
2. Background Checks: I hereby give consent to M3 Staffing to conduct background checks as deemed necessary for the purposes of employment. This may include criminal background checks, employment history, and education verification.
3. Employment Relationship: I understand that upon successful application, I will become an employee of M3 Staffing and agree to be bound by its policies, procedures, and the terms of employment. I acknowledge that M3 Staffing will place me with its clients based on job availability and my qualifications, but I remain an employee of M3 Staffing.

Safety Training, Site Orientations, and Compliance: I agree to actively participate in and be attentive during all safety training, site orientations, and compliance procedures provided by M3 Staffing and any client companies I am placed with each morning before starting a job. I acknowledge my responsibility to wear and use all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and to adhere to all safety guidelines relevant to the job assignments.
7. Injury Reporting: I agree to immediately report any injury or illness that occurs during my employment with M3 Staffing to both M3 Staffing and the client company, as applicable.
8. Workers' Compensation: I acknowledge that, in the event of an injury sustained during the course of employment with M3 Staffing, I may be covered by workers' compensation insurance in accordance with local and national laws.
9. Limitation of Liability: Except where prohibited by law, I agree that M3 Staffing shall not be liable for personal injuries or illness that occur during my employment, except to the extent such injuries or illness arise directly from the negligence or willful misconduct of M3 Staffing.
10. Restrictions on Direct Employment with Clients: I understand that while employed by M3 Staffing, I am not permitted to seek or accept direct employment with any of M3 Staffing's clients without first terminating my employment with M3 Staffing. Should I choose to pursue employment with an M3 Staffing client, I may only do so after a period of 90 days following my resignation from M3 Staffing.
