    Please use this form to request cancellation of your Macaroni KID business.
  • ** IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THIS FIRST **

    You must do all of the following BEFORE submitting this form. Your cancellation cannot be processed until these items are complete. 

    Provided all items below are complete, your cancellation will be processed within 5 business days of form submission. You will lose access to all Macaroni KID systems at this time, including your email. Cancellations must be submitted no later than the 1st of the month to avoid being charged licensing fees for the current month.

    1. Finalize all local advertising contracts. Your contracts will not carry over to a new Publisher. It is your responsibility to ensure all obligations under these contracts are complete or the advertiser(s) refunded for any outstanding deliverables.  

    2. Complete all national campaign commitments. If you are part of a national/HQ campaign, your contract requires that you continue as a Publisher until your campaign deliverables are complete. You must also email the Campaign Manager in charge of the campaign to make them aware you are leaving.

    3. Website/Admin Panel. Please do all of the following to prepare your website for your departure:

    • Clear Town Notifications. In the Admin Panel, click on the envelope at the top of the dashboard and then click the "Mark all as Read" button on the top right.
    • Hide all Ads. In your Admin Panel Advertisements, click on the boxes to the right of all ads and then click "Hide all Checked."
    • Delete Publisher Information. Go to Town/Manage This Town in the Admin Panel, delete your Name, Summary, Biography and Image (leave all Social Media Accounts & Tags), and then click the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
    • Change Welcome Email to Default. Go to Town/Welcome Email in the Admin Panel, click the "Use Defaults?" box and then click "Save."

    **DO NOT remove content (articles/guides/photos) from your site. This is a violation of your Publisher Agreement.

    4.  Social Media. Please do the following to ensure HQ has access to all of your social media accounts:

    • Confirm login credentials. It is your responsibility to confirm the login credentials for all accounts so you can provide the correct usernames and passwords. A member of our team will contact you when you submit this form asking for this information. 
    • Remove your personal information and contact information from the "About" section on ALL platforms.
    • Change Instagram handle (if applicable). If you have an older IG account that has your name as part of the handle, please change that to MacKid(territory) before submitting this form (e.g., MacKidSarasota).
    • Remove two-factor authentication from your accounts:
      • Instagram: Log in to your account from your mobile device. Click on your profile image in the bottom-right corner, then click on the three bars in the top-right corner. Select "Settings," then "Security," and "Two-Factor Authentication" and uncheck any boxes you may have selected there.
      • Twitter: Log in to your account from your mobile device. Click on your profile image on the top-left corner, then click "Settings and Privacy," then "Account," then "Security," and then "Two-Factor Authentication." Make sure none of the options there are selected.

    5. Delete outside accounts created using your Macaroni KID credentials. If you set up any outside apps/accounts using your Macaroni KID email or social media handles, please delete them. Examples: PayPal, Stripe, Hootsuite, Buffer, Wisestamp, Dropbox, etc.

    6. Deregister your DBA (Doing Business As). If you registered a DBA for your Macaroni KID business, it is your responsibility to deregister it with the appropriate state or county authority.

  • Media Kit / Rate Card

    If you have a media kit and/or rate card for your business, we greatly appreciate you sharing the link(s) or uploading it below. If you possess valuable contacts from previous barter deals or advertisements that you would like to pass on to the next publisher, please provide their details and any pertinent information here. This is very helpful to a new Publisher taking over your site and we thank you for sharing!

  • Advertiser Contact List (CRM)

    If you keep a record of your advertising leads and/or clients and contact information either on a spreadsheet or within a CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, Pipedrive, Salesforce, LACRM), we'd greatly appreciate you uploading a file containing this information below. Most CRM platforms allow you to export this data as a CSV or Excel file. This is a very helpful to a new Publisher taking over your site and we thank you for sharing!
