The Maker Effect Foundation, our community partners, sponsors, and the maker community are excited to invite students to participate in Field Trip Day at Maker Faire Orlando on November 7th, 2025.

School Field Trips
If you are an educator affiliated with a school, this program includes free admission for teachers, students, and chaperones.

Homeschool & Virtual School Groups
If your family homeschools, or is part of a full-time virtual school program, this program includes free admission for students and and a parent or guardian. This program is limited to one adult per student. Participants will be required to upload documentation showing homeschool or full-time virtual school status.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. All students must be supervised at the event by an adult at all times. Please plan for proper adult / student ratios and supervision.
2. This is a registration form only. You will receive a confirmation email at the time of submission, and then separate approval email at a later date once all information has been processed.
3. WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT ANYONE THAT ARRIVES ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT WITHOUT COMPLETING THIS PROCESS. THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THIS REQUEST FORM IS 14 DAYS BEFORE FIELD TRIP DAY. PLEASE SUBMIT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
4. All group members must check-in at the same time. Parking and Check-in instructions will be sent before the event.
5. This program is limited to Field Trip Day, and Field Trip Day admission will NOT be valid for Maker Faire Orlando main event days.

- Umbrella school registration
- Membership with the Florida Parent Educator Association (FPEA)
- Membership with the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA)
- Registration with a Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) approved scholarship-funding organization (SFO) (PEP program)
- Letter of Intent to homeschool registered with your municipality
- Virtual School Student ID
