    We are located in Hillsborough, NJ and adopt within a 2-hour driving range of our location.

    Cats and kittens bring joy, comfort, and companionship — and they also require love, patience, and responsible care. Before starting this application, please be sure you’re ready to make a lifelong commitment to your new feline friend.

    If you’re ready to welcome a cat into your heart and home, please complete this adoption form as thoroughly as possible. It may take 10–25 minutes to finish. Once submitted, a member of our team will be in touch with you soon.

    (Note: We reserve the right to refuse any adoption that we feel will not suit the cat’s or kitten’s specific needs.)

  • The information I have provided on this application is true. I also recognize that any misrepresentation or omissions may result in the loss of privilege to adopt from Mama Rhea Animal Rescue*
  • I understand that Mama Rhea Animal Rescue has the right to deny any application for any reason*
  • I understand that Mama Rhea Animal Rescue is not able to guarantee the health or temperament of any cat, as many cats come in with unknown histories. There are traits that could change upon adoptions and I take responsibility to care for and address these issues if they do arise*
  • I understand that anything could happen in life, and if I find that I am no longer able to care for my adopted cat, I agree to contact Mama Rhea Animal Rescue by phone and/or email to discuss return/or need for help of the adopted animal*
  • I understand that I am to immediately contact Mama Rhea Animal Rescue in the event that my adopted cat is lost/missing*
  • I attest that the cat I am adopting is for me, in my home, and NOT a gift for anyone*
  • I understand that I am responsible for paying for all follow-up vaccines, wellness visits & medical procedures my pet will require in the future.*
  • If I am adopting a kitten that is too young to be fixed (foster-to-adopt), I understand that I am to keep it separate from my other cats until it is fixed & FeLV tested.*
