That is IF you cannot find team members to play with you. MWC will try to help you to form a team, if that's what you want to do. Note that there will be an assessment that you will HAVE to join as we need to know what level you are in, as well you can take the chance to meet everyone else. Assessment date will be announced.
Markham Wesley Centre is a non-profit charitable community services organization established in 2015, with the mission to enhance individual lives, to promote cultural harmony and to serve the diverse needs of Markham and its neighboring communities.
Concurrently running with our evening league, Markham Wesley Centre will run ladder leagues on Wednesdays afternoon.
Dynamite ladder runs from October 2024 to April 2025 (2 seasons: Oct 23 to Jan 29 and Feb 12 to April 30, no games from Dec 11 to Jan 1, as well as March Break). We are also looking for subs.
Time: Wednesdays (any ONE hour between) 1-3pm.
Everyone will be enter each week within the ladder. All players will have a designated court to play on each ladder day. It will be a random draw on Day 1 and then players will play it out to move up to court #1 with number of wins and points by the week. After the first matchday, players' rankings, the court assigned as well as starting time will be determined strictly by scores. So players with the lowest scores from previous week will start at 2pm. Having said that, everyone comes early for the first Match Day.
