Unity Fest: A Time for Peace

The Unity Fest will be held this year on March 25th, 2023.
**NOTE - this years event is a one day festival, Saturday only**
Thank you for applying to the Unity Fest. Please be sure to read ALL the rules and requirements. In order to ensure public and vendor safety you will be held to these standards.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Location: Cooper Riverside Park, 101 S Water St, Mobile, Al.
- Set-up Time: 10:45 am to 12:30 pm. (ALL vehicles MUST be outside of the event space by 12:00 pm)
- Festival Hours: 12:00 AM. (General Admission) To 4:00 PM (Breakdown from 4 pm - 5 pm
- Electricity: Limited electricity available. If you need electricity you MUST inform the festival organizers during registration or electric hookups may not be available.
- Tent Space Size: Single space = 10' wide by 10' long.
- ALL tents are required to have a minimum of 10-lbs. weight attached to each leg – The river gets very windy and will lift tents and can cause damages.
- Waiver of liability MUST be signed for participation and will be sent to you upon completion of registration.
EVENT FEE SCHEDULE:
Registration (ends March 17th, 2023)
- Vendors/Resource Organizations and Cultural Displays: $25.00 per table donation requested (NO ORGANIZATION OR DISPLAY WILL BE REFUSED DUE TO INABILITY TO PAY)
- Food Vendors: $100.00 Donation Suggested
LATE Registration (after March 17th, 2023)
- Craft & Specialty Vendors: Per available space
- Food Vendors: Per available space
NO checks are accepted. Payment link sent upon acceptance of registration
RULES, REQUIREMENTS & INFORMATION;
- All food booths: The following are required: City of Mobile business license, Mobile County Health Department food permit
- All good trucks: Food truck park permit from Mobile Parks and Rec Dept ($25 for the day, $50 for the quarter, or $150 for the year) The following are required: City of Mobile business license, Mobile County Health Department food permit, Fire inspection sticker (if applicable), Certificate of liability insurance naming City of Mobile Parks and Recreation (48 N. Sage Ave., Mobile, AL 36607) as certificate holder.
- Please note, various spots along the event route may be on slightly uneven terrain. Street grates, dips, and various non-level ground may be found so please be sure to bring whateveer items you may need to stabilize or level your space.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
No: Silly String, Smoke Bombs, Stink Bombs “Snappers”, Radios, AV Equipment, Weapons, Guns, Ammo. No drug related items. If it is illegal in Alabama State or Coty of Mobile, it is illegal at our festival.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance. If you are accepted you will be contacted within 48-72 hours via email and / or text.
- No refunds or cancellations for any reason whatsoever. This is a rain or shine event!
- Spaces are limited (Approx. 35 available) Get your application in EARLY!
- We will attempt to accommodate location requests however we cannot guarantee this.
- Applications are considered on a first received, first considered basis.

FINAL NOTE TO ALL VENDORS
- Vendor parking will be very strictly enforced on both days.
- ALL vendors will maintain polite and courteous manners (including language) to all guests, other vendors and event staff. Failure to do so will result in your IMMEDIATE removal from the site with no refund!
- Please Remember, you must leave your space as you found it. Take large supply boxes, bottles, containers etc., away with you. Medium & small refuse can be put in provided garbage containers. If you leave your garbage behind, it will be noted and you will be barred from any future events.
