Important Information for Propane Tank Requests
Please read carefully before filling out the form:
Read Me First!
Events With More Than 50 People:
If your event will have more than 50 people, please fill out this form first https://spa.caltech.edu/ to obtain approval from the Office of Student Experience first before submitting a form to Dining Services.
Advance Notice Required:
All propane tank requests must be submitted at least two days in advance.
This allows sufficient time for Dining Services to arrange for the propane tank.
House Selection:
Please select your house from the dropdown menu.
The contact information for your house's Grill Masters will appear after selection.
You must contact your Grill Master to coordinate pickup times before submitting this form.
Grill Master Responsibilities:
Only Grill masters are authorized to check out propane tanks from Dining Services.
They must provide a valid Student ID at the time of checkout.
- grill masters are responsible for setting up the propane tank
- cleaning the grill after use
- and returning the propane tank after grilling
Grill Liabilities:
If responsibilities are not followed or if any damage is caused to any
grilling related equipment, charges will apply.
Form Completion:
Once you have coordinated a pickup time with your Grill Master,
complete the form and submit your request.
An email confirmation will be sent to you and your Grill Master for approval.
