• Intro to HVAC

  • In the Intro to HVAC program, students will:

    • Learn to identify HVAC equipment types and components.
    • Identify the functions of HVAC components.
    • Analyze how the HVAC systems integrate into larger systems.
    • Engage in a practical, hands-on session to see the equipment discussed in class, including working units and cutaways.

    DATES: October 5 - October 26, 2026 (Mondays) 

    TIME: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    LOCATION: In Person at MCAWW (+ Field trip to the Seattle Area Pipe Trades Education Center on 10/26)
     
    CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED. 
     
    Applications are due Sunday, September 20, 2026. 

    Important Note: The MCAWW Board of Education will review all submissions and select participants at the close of the registration period. You are not registered until you receive a notification from MCAWW of your acceptance into the program.

    If accepted, your firm will be invoiced for the tuition.

  • The Intro to HVAC program is a 4-week program, meeting weekly on Mondays from 12pm-4pm. Due to the short length of the program, students must attend ALL class sessions for the full length of each class (12pm-4pm). This includes:

    • Monday, October 19
    • Monday, October 26
