The Digital Learning Lab Student Consultant team is essential both in day-to-day operations of the DLL and the McGraw Center’s core mission: teaching and learning.
As a multimedia maker space and digital learning environment, we look for students who enjoy teaching and helping others. Arriving from a variety of backgrounds, DLL Consultants like learning how to make things with multimedia technology. This shared enthusiasm for building technical skills and troubleshooting creative projects is one of the things that makes the DLL a special place to work.
Interested applicants do NOT need to have a major in Computer Science or Engineering. We are searching for individuals with well-rounded computer experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. Other characteristics we look for are ambition, enthusiasm, initiative, and professionalism.
We encourage anyone interested to apply. Skills include audio/video editing, image manipulation, 3D modeling, and graphic design/layout. We have the full Adobe Suite of software along with many other titles. Please use the “Other Qualifications or details” field to elaborate on your “Skills Checklist” ratings with details such as application version or other specific programs you are able to support.
If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the Digital Learning Lab or email the DLL Manager.
