• CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-8

    For student volunteers in grades 6–8 serving in school or parish ministry settings. Please read carefully and complete all required acknowledgments and signatures.
  • Instructions and Code of Conduct

  • Purpose: The Diocese of Salina requires all student volunteers in grades 6–8 who work or volunteer with children/youth in school or parish ministry settings to read and sign this Code of Conduct. Both the student and their parent/guardian must review and sign this form before the student is allowed to serve.

    Teen Code of Conduct – Promise to Serve
    • I will respect the physical, emotional, and sexual boundaries of others.
    • I will use appropriate language and behavior at all times, reflecting Christian values.
    • I will listen carefully to those in authority and follow instructions promptly.
    • I will communicate openly and respectfully with leaders, peers, and those I serve.
    • I will be aware of my actions and how they affect others.
    • I will be cautious with sharing personal information, both mine and others’.
    • If I see or suspect abuse or inappropriate behavior, I will report it to an adult in authority immediately.
    • I will strive to be a positive example of Christian values in all my actions.

    Acknowledgment: Both the student and parent/guardian must read and understand the Code of Conduct. Violations may result in loss of the privilege of working with minors.
