Purpose: The Diocese of Salina requires all student volunteers in grades 6–8 who work or volunteer with children/youth in school or parish ministry settings to read and sign this Code of Conduct. Both the student and their parent/guardian must review and sign this form before the student is allowed to serve.
Teen Code of Conduct – Promise to Serve
- I will respect the physical, emotional, and sexual boundaries of others.
- I will use appropriate language and behavior at all times, reflecting Christian values.
- I will listen carefully to those in authority and follow instructions promptly.
- I will communicate openly and respectfully with leaders, peers, and those I serve.
- I will be aware of my actions and how they affect others.
- I will be cautious with sharing personal information, both mine and others’.
- If I see or suspect abuse or inappropriate behavior, I will report it to an adult in authority immediately.
- I will strive to be a positive example of Christian values in all my actions.
