Nomination for the AZMSBL Hall of Fame requires careful consideration of the information needed to assess a nominee's qualifications. Below is a guide that you can use as a starting point. Feel free to contact any member of AZMSBL Hall of Fame Committee for help.
AZMSBL Hall of Fame Criteria:

1. Must be a member of the AZMSBL for 10 consecutive years.

2. Must have had an impact on our local league. (player, board member, volunteer, supporter, tenure). Our Hall of Fame is not based upon stats or a statistical selection, or how good was the nominee on the field, we are selecting based upon overall factors whereby a supporter of our league, tenure as a member of our league is more important than results on the field.

3. Must support and be committed to our principles & philosophies.

4. Once accepted on the Hall of Fame ballot, the nominee will remain on the ballot for five years before being removed from the ballot if not accepted.

5. To remain on the ballot for the full 5 years (if not selected) – at least 60% of committee members must vote yes on the players/person’s merit.

Rules and requirements may need to change or be updated from time to time by the Hall of Fame committee and approved by the board.
