Preschool Registration 2024-2025

Hello and WELCOME to Mecca's Lil' Lads & Lasses Information & Registration for the 2024-2025 school year.

My name is Linda Davis and I am the owner/operator & teacher of Mecca Glen School's preschool - Mecca's Lil' Lads & Lasses. As the primary teacher within the preschool, I have a Level 3 Child Care Certification and over 30 years of experience. Children are my passion and I am thrilled to be able to work with Mecca Glen School to provide an early introduction to education.

This is only our third year at Mecca Glen School and our first two years were amazing! Children are so curious and eager to learn. They show the most incredible growth at this young age.

To help you register your child at Lil' Lads & Lasses Inc, I have prepared all the required documentation and payment information necessary to successfully enroll your child. Please call me with any questions or concerns regarding the program.

Class will be available for children 3 & 4 years of age. Your child must be fully potty trained.

Lil' Lads & Lasses Inc. just became a funded preschool through the Affordability Grant in February 2023. Fees for the class total $125 per month per child. The Affordability Grant will provide $75 per month per child and there is no need for families to apply for this grant. It will be applied to your fees automatically. Therefore, the first month’s payment of $50.00 will be due by October 1, 2024. If you decide not to enroll your child at Lil' Lads & Lasses, please notify me in writing by September 1, 2024. If notice is not provided, you are responsible for the full first month’s fee of $125.

Invoices will be sent by email. All payments are due the first of the month unless arrangements have been made. The remaining 7 payments will be from November 1, 2024 to May 1, 2025. Any tuition fees not recieved by the 1st of the month will be subject to a late charge of $40.

Registration will be allotted on a first come, first serve basis as a maximum of 12 spaces are available. Class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 - 11:30 am beginning October 1, 2024 until May 15, 2025. Lil' Lads & Lasses will follow Mecca Glen's school calendar and any closures as announced by Wolf Creek School Division. An email will be sent out in August including the parent handbook as well as information regarding classes for the fall.

Please give one month’s written notice if you are withdrawing your child from the program. If you do not provide written notification in advance you will be responsible for the full month’s fee of $125. (i.e. if you are wanting to take your child out of the program on March 1st, written notice will be needed by February 1st.)

There will be a $25.00 NSF fee charge for all returned cheques. Payment can be made by etransfer, cash or cheque.
