Thank you for your interest in presenting at Time For A Change Counseling's Children's Mental Health Conference. This form may be used to submit your proposal information for consideration.
Session Expectations: Presentations should focus on innovative and trauma-informed strategies, leadership insights, impactful lived experiences, and evidenced-based and emerging trends in child and family welfare.
Session Formats: All presentations should be 60 minutes in duration, including time for Q & A.
Expertise Levels: This opportunity is open to professionals at all levels of experience.
Conference Theme: “Healing through Understanding: Trauma-Informed Strategies” This theme invites speakers to explore ways to support children who have had a history of trauma through being able to equip parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals with trauma-informed care interventions that are effective.
Targeted Attendees: The goal for our inaugural Children’s Mental Health Conference is to attract professionals and stakeholders throughout the child and family welfare systems that include parents and caregivers, children’s welfare advocates, mental health professionals, educators, service providers, and policymakers.
Please note that all proposals will be peer-reviewed and are due by August 12, 2024. You will be notified of your acceptance by August 30, 2024.
Conference presenters will be registered - at no cost - to attend the conference and receive continuing education credits.
