Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool (BIERP)

NSW Government recognises that after certain natural events, such as storms or floods, financial assistance may also be required to repair damaged public boating infrastructure.

Under the Boating Now Program, the Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool (BIERP) will continue to provide funding to assist with the delivery of repairs to return public boating infrastructure into service.

As an applicant, you will only need to submit either this online form or the PDF available on the Boating Now webpage.  

This online form can be completed via your mobile devices to allow the applicant to make an assessment and application on-site and attach photos taken from the site.

• You can save progress of your submission by clicking on the 'Save' button at the bottom of each page
• You will be provided with an opportunity to print a copy of your responses prior to submission
• A version of your responses will also be electronically sent to you via email upon submission
• Some fields have suggestions on how to complete the form if you hover your mouse icon over the field

To eliminate any ambiguity about the location of the site, please provide the estimated coordinates in latitude and longitude for the proposed project. You can locate these coordinates by following the steps below:

• In Google Maps or BING Maps, right-click on the point you want the coordinates of 
• Select the coordinates to copy these values
• Paste the coordinates into the field below by right-clicking the selecting "Paste"

Before you submit your BIERP Application, you have an opportunity to provide any further documentation to support your application.

Pre & post loss/damage photographs	Any photographs of the asset, preferably in its pre and post-loss or damage condition
Evidence of routine maintenance plan	Funding is not intended for routine maintenance or for losses taht are the result of a failure to appropriately maintain an asset. Please provide evidence of conduct of routine maintenance, or an explanation if routine maintenance has not occurred.
Inspection report	The latest inspection/maintenance report or an inspection report after the event, which includes photographs, should be submitted if possible.
Relevant insurance details	Statement of Insurance, or any other evidence of insurance for the asset, or correspondence with the insurer relating to this asset.
Financial information	Any quotes or costing for works required to replace or repair this asset, or for previous works to this asset, or quotes from similar works.
