The NSW Boating Now Program provides grant funding to local councils, government agencies, community groups and the private sector for maritime infrastructure and facilities across NSW for safe, accessible and enjoyable recreational and commercial boating.
Announced in December 2021, Boating Now Round 4 will continue to support boating infrastructure and amenity improvements throughout NSW but with an ongoing emphasis on projects that support the NSW Maritime Infrastructure Plan. This Plan outlines the strategic approach and commitment to ongoing in maritime infrastructure across NSW.
Round 4 will retain the two stage application process introduced under Round 3 of the Boating Now Program. The Registration of Interest stage provides an opportunity for subject matter experts in the Maritime Infrastructure Delivery Office to provide feedback on the proposal before the call for formal applications in early 2022.
