❗️This is an all-ages event with kids under 12 years old free.

- Saturday, October 12th: 12PM - 12AM
- Sunday, October 13th: 10AM - 10PM

❗️ Please take note of the below: ❗️
● The Barbacoa & Big Red Festival, hosts, sponsors and the venue is not responsible and hereby disclaim any liability for any accidents, injuries or theft.
● We maintain the prerogative to cease booth operations should there be a violation of the stipulated rules.
● All vendors participating in the festival/venue are required to bring their own bank or purse containing an adequate amount of change and paper currency, as the festival/venue shall not be responsible for providing any currency exchange or cash services.
● If internet is required for your business to operate to accept credit cards, the vendor will need to have their own hotspot. The venue is not guaranteed to provide WiFi or if available, we nor the venue is responsible for the speed or any connectivity issues.
● Bring ALL of your setup (i.e. tables, chairs, tents, utensils, tools, power strips, power cords, etc.) The festival/venue will not provide or have any available on the dates of the event.
● Feel free to appropriately decorate your space within the containments of your area. Please do not set up outside the perameters of your area.
● Please try to the best of your ability to direct your queue wait lines away from the high traffic flow of the festival, blocking neighboring booths, or fire exits.
● Absolutely NO obscenities, nudity, loudspeakers, un-authorized DJ set-ups, disturbing music, bullhorn/megaphones or anything visually or audio that will be a disruption to the event as it will NOT be tolerated. Please be professional and courteous. This is your first and last warning. If in violation, you may be asked to pack up and leave the grounds with no refund.
● Depending on the booth type, a maximum of 5 people per booth at any given time will be allowed into the event for free. If your employees will be showing up after 10am, please coordinate with festival operations staff for help. Depending on the size of your operation, we can make exceptions for more employees at 8 maximum. Employees must have their vendor wristbands on at all times.
● Vendors cannot skip Saturday and then come and setup/operate Sunday nor operate Saturday and skip out on Sunday. Vendors must be operating both days during complete festival hours.
● Please assure the safety of your area. Be sure to cover any wires in walkways with a rug/mat or wire cover.
● Assure that liquids, oils, or grease leaks do not stain the concrete. (If a stain is found after cleanup, your business may be billed for the cleanup/removal of the stain). Please use caution. Cardboard, plywood or other means of approved material should be on the ground if you are a food vendor per rules of the health department regulations.
🔴 🔌 Power will be available to those who require it. You will need to let us know what you'll need to plug in (required amps) so we can make sure that we're not overloading the power source.
🔴 Food trucks: We ask that you bring a quiet generator to power up your operation.
🔴 Absolutely no outside drinks for sale or personal use, all ice chests are subject to inspection! This is your only warning. Those who fail to comply will be ejected from the festival with no refund for vending space.
⚠️ Bexar County Fire Marshall requires all vendors to have a fire-extinguisher at their station. 🧯
⚠️ Food Trucks must carry a grease fire extinguisher in accordance with local laws.
⚠️ Food booths must have a plywood flooring with a roofing paper matrierial on top.
⚠️ Food vendors must have hand washing stations and a gray water holding container in accordinace with the health department. Please do not dump any grey water on the grounds of the venue property.
⚠️ At the end of the festival, please clean your area to the best of your ability and dispose of trash in the proper receptacles. We do not have any place to drain grease. Please bring a container that you can transport grease in.
⚠️ Please remember vehicles will NOT be allowed in or out until after the official close of the festival. Our team will open any gates needed after all patrons have dispursed.
☀️🌧 Both days of operation are a Rain or Shine event and refunds for vendors will not be given due to inclement weather.
By following these measures above will ensure we all have a smooth and stress-free event.
