Mirrors 10th Annual Art & Digital Competition Registration Form

Thank you for participating in our 10th Annual Art & Digital Competition. We look forward to receiving your submission. This year’s theme is “Our Island, Many Stories.” We invite you to share your perspective of our island through your chosen medium—whether traditional art (e.g., acrylics, pastels) or digital formats such as video recording of poetry or short movie. Application Deadline: Friday, May 8th, 2026. Artwork Submission deadline: Friday, June 12th at 4:00 p.m. Selected works will be displayed at Washington Mall throughout July. A People’s Choice Award will also be presented.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Print for reference

Artwork
- Individual submissions (no groups)
- Submissions should be in one of the following mediums:
  - Painting
  - Editorial cartoon
  - comic art
  - print making
  - drawing and illustrations (pencils, crayons, pastels etc.)
  - collage
  - ceramics
  - mixed media
- No larger than 11 x 17 inches - on canvas, paper, poster board etc.
- Works on paper must be mounted on card backing
- Artwork must be labelled on the front at the bottom right hand corner with the following:
  - Artwork title
  - Student name
  - School
  - Age
  - Year group
- On the back with the cut out below

Digital
- Submissions on behalf on an individual (no groups)
- Digital desin on print or digital image (jpg)
  - e.g. digital photography, digital art
- No larger than 11 x 17 inches
- Printed images must be mounted on card backing
- Artwork must be labelled on the front at the bottom right hand corner with the following:
  - Artwork title
  - Student name
  - School
  - Age
  - Year group
- On the back with the cut out below
- Digital Image submissions
  - Submitted electronically via WeTransfer - jjwoods@gov.bm
  - Separate title page to include

Video
- Film and animation (mp4)
- May be submitted on behalf of an individual or a group
- Video-90 seconds in length MAX
- Video to includes credit slide (not included in 90 sec limit) at the end stating:
  - Artwork title
  - Student/s name
  - School
  - Age/s and Year level/s
- Please submit electronically via WeTransfer - jjwoods@gov.bm
