In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Driven for Kids Car Show, the “Event”
I hereby agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in a public car show involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to damage to my vehicle, personal injury, theft, fire, or acts of nature. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
Release of Liability: I hereby release and hold harmless the organizers of the Driven for Kids Car Show, its sponsors, volunteers, vendors, property owners, and all related entities and individuals from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses (including attorney fees) that may arise from my participation in this event.
I certify that the vehicle I am entering in this event is properly registered, insured, and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the operation, condition, maintenance, transportation, security, and display of my vehicle throughout the duration of the event.
I understand that I am responsible for ensuring that my vehicle is operated safely and in a manner that does not endanger participants, spectators, volunteers, staff, or property. I agree to follow all traffic flow instructions, parking guidelines, and event rules regarding vehicle movement on event grounds. Reckless driving, excessive speeding, burnouts, revving engines in an unsafe manner, or any other dangerous operation of a vehicle is strictly prohibited.
I further acknowledge that event organizers, sponsors, venue owners, volunteers, and affiliated organizations are not responsible for any loss, theft, vandalism, damage, mechanical failure, or other incidents involving my vehicle or its contents. I accept full responsibility for securing my vehicle and any personal property contained within it.
By participating in this event, I assume all risks associated with displaying and operating my vehicle and agree to be financially and legally responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from my actions or the operation of my vehicle during the event.
I understand that participation in this event is a privilege and agree to conduct myself in a respectful, responsible, and safe manner at all times. I will comply with all posted event rules, venue regulations, local, state, and federal laws, as well as any instructions provided by event organizers, staff, volunteers, security personnel, or law enforcement officials.
I agree to treat fellow participants, spectators, vendors, sponsors, and event personnel with courtesy and respect. I will refrain from any behavior that is disruptive, reckless, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate. I understand that unsafe actions, excessive noise, burnouts, reckless driving, racing, alcohol or drug-related misconduct, or any activity that creates a risk to others may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
I acknowledge that event organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any participant, vehicle, or guest whose conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with the goals and standards of the event. By participating, I accept responsibility for my actions and agree to help maintain a positive, family-friendly, and welcoming environment for all attendees.
Photography Consent: I understand that photos or video may be taken during the event, and I grant permission for my image and vehicle to be used for promotional or informational purposes without compensation.
