2025 BLACK HISTORY TRADEMARK GRANT
In honor of BLACK HISTORY MONTH of 2022, Attorney Michelle J. Miller joined forces with celebrity Financial Coach Dr. Lynn Richardson® and legendary Hip-Hop Artist MC LYTE® to offer a TRADEMARK GRANT. Our mission was to help creatives, influencers, entrepreneurs, entertainers, and leaders own their influential names, protect their brands, and build generational wealth. These include scholarships, educational assistance, and partnerships with other agencies to magnify community impact. Because over 200 people applied for our first grant in 2022, Attorney Michelle J. Miller decided to offer the BLACK HISTORY TRADEMARK GRANT annually.

Purpose: To help offer financial assistance to black-owned business owners needing financial support to obtain legal services for protecting their intellectual property.

Reward: The selected Black-Owned Business will receive a grant of $2,000 for attorney's fees for a Trademark Legal Package offered by Attorney Michelle J. Miller. You will be responsible for the firm's administrative fees and the USPTO application fee(s).

Qualifications: Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this grant:
- Complete the Required Forms & Sign A Release if selected
- Started your Business Before or By December 31, 2024
- Have An Annual Business Revenue of less than $50,000

Requirements: The candidate or a candidate representative must respond to the grant notice within 24 hours, and the Candidate must sign a Release Agreement within 24 hours of receipt.

The submission deadline for the grant is 11:59 CST on 2/25/2025.

The grant recipient will be announced on Tuesday, February 26, 2025.
