Mackay Indoor Pickleball - Easter Tournament
The team at Mackay Indoor Pickleball have been hard at work organising another big indoor tournament for our region. This will be bigger and better than our 2025 event, so we can ensure all players that they will experience great games, meet some wonderful players and most importantly, have fun! For your convenience we have arranged for the Canteen to be opened on Saturday and Sunday, with lots of hot and cold drinks and food.

Categories of Play:
Competitive Social:
Games designed for players who are relatively new to the game. You know the rules, can sustain a rally and are starting to explore the tactics of the game. Balls in these games shouldn’t come at you too hard. You like to do well, but winning isn’t necessarily your first goal.
Intermediate:
Gamed designed for players who are more experienced in the game. You know the rules, can sustain a good rally and have a variety of shot types in your arsenal and can use them with reasonable consistency. Balls in these games will come to you at a greater speed sometimes. You play tactically and like to play well and win when you can.
Advanced:
Games designed for players who are experienced and competitive. You can rally consistently and your shots are strategically chosen to set up a point. You have the ability to drive the ball with accuracy; you can defend a rapid placed ball equally. Balls in these games will come to you at a rapid speed with regularity, but you will know they are coming. You play well and your goal is to win.

Tournament Terms & Conditions
The Tournament Committee has the right to adjust the Category nominated by any player if deemed necessary.No player who withdraws from the tournament after the draw has been set will be entitled to a refund on their entry fees. However, at the discretion of the Tournament Committee if a medical Certificate is presented a refund may be considered less a fee.Draw format will be determined on the number of nominations received for that category (round robin competition if possible). All games will be 1 set, first to 11 points, change ends after reaching 6 points, winner declare with a 2-point margin.Entries must be submitted on attached official entry form and signed to acknowledge conditions of tournament and returned to the email address by 24th March. A late entry may incur a late fee if draw has already been completed. I hereby declare that I am in good health, physical condition and release MIP from all Claims that may arise from or in connection with my participation in 2026 Mackay Indoor Pickleball Assoc. Inc Easter Tournament. I agree to have photos both motion and still taken during the Tournament without compensation. I agree to the Tournament Conditions a set out above.
