Artists, Writers, and/or Crafters who created the work must be present at the event to sell their work; i.e. you may not use a creator space to represent a third-party.

You may be asked to provide documentation or other proof of your financial situation if the creator selection committee deems it necessary for its evaluation and jurying.

Nick Post Fellowship Applications will be placed into a separate pool of creators which will then be evaluated and juried in the same manner as the standard creators. No creator will receive a fee waiver for more than three consecutive shows unless there are not enough total applicants to fill the allocated spaces.

Creators discovered to have wrongfully applied for and/or received a fee waiver may be permanently banned from Minnesota Comic Book Association (MNCBA) events.

Creators who fail to appear at the event without one week's notice of cancellation, except in the case of emergencies, may be ineligible for a fee waiver in the future.

If you are not selected for a fee waiver and wish to purchase a paid creator space instead, you must go to the end of the applicant queue and reapply for MNCBA FallCon 2025 using the standard creator application.
SPACE SPECIFICATIONS
Each space includes one-half (1/2) of an 8' X 30" table, one (1) chair, and one (1) creator badge for entry. You will need to purchase regular admissions for any additional helpers beyond the included badge.

Banners and displays may not be taller than 10' high (including the height of the table for tabletop displays) and may not extend into aisles or others' space.

Complimentary lunch is provided for Creators.
Special Requests
Placement on the floor plan, accommodations for disabilities, dietary restrictions for our green room, and any other special requests. We do our best to accommodate all requests when possible. If we have any issues with your request, we will contact you.
The creator selection process is done by a jury of volunteers. Please include the jury and promotional materials indicated on the second page of this application. Failure to include the jurying materials will result in your application being rejected as incomplete.
LEGAL AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ COMPLETELY AND SIGN
Creators shall at all times protect, indemnify, save, and keep harmless the Minnesota Comic Book Association, its members, volunteers, the MN State Fairgrounds in its entirety, against any and all form of loss, cost damage, liability or expense. Including that which arises out of, or from, or by any reason of or act or omission by retailer/dealer, his employees or agents, FallCon attendees/participants, MNCBA staff, volunteers, owners, or the staff of the MN State Fairgrounds. All spaces/tables sales are final. Retailers/Vendors may not assign this contract or any right hereunder nor sublet or license any or all portion of its space without the prior written consent of the MNCBA, which consent shall be in the MNCBA's sole discretion. The signing of this form and participation in FallCon, indicates your full and complete Understanding and 100% acceptance of the stated terms.

Promotion on the MNCBA social media accounts is not guaranteed, and is contingent upon promotional materials that meet MNCBA format and quality standards being submitted at the time of application.

Even if these materials do not meet our specifications for public promotional materials, all creator applications must include them to move on to the jury process:

To keep our promotional materials fresh and engaging for our online audience, we ask that you submit new and/or the most up-to-date materials possible each time you apply to an MNCBA event. Colourful, vertically-oriented images without any text that might be cropped are preferred. Show us what you've got!

Applications must be submitted by 30 August 2025 and confirmed by 6 September 2025 to be eligible for promotion on the MNCBA social media accounts.
