ELIGIBILITY
- Graduating Senior for the current academic year.
- Resides in San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Garden Ridge, New Braunfels
- GPS 2.8 or greater
- Meets income limits
- Received a letter of recommendation from the school counselor.
- Reliable transportation to make it to session and print pickup.
INCOME LIMITS
Effective for all applications submitted on or after August 4, 2023, the Income Limits apply. The maximum household income depends on how many persons are living in the household and is based on GROSS income (before taxes, deductions, etc.), not take-home pay.
Applicants who provide proof of participation in the below programs are considered categorically eligible, meaning they do not need to submit income documentation:
- Supplemental Security Income payments from the Social Security Administration (SSI)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Below are examples of documents that applicants/nominations are required to submit with the application:
- Current unofficial transcript from a school in coverage area showing Student's name, GPA of 2.8 or greater, and graduating class
- Income documentation such as award letters or paystubs for each member of your household
- Letter from the school counselor with contact information
