• The Missouri Arts Council promotes COVID-19 safe practices by arts and cultural organizations statewide when the arts reopen under local guidelines. Together with a coalition of organizations throughout the state, we have created Missouri ArtSafe Certification. Organizations become certified by pledging and adhering to a core level of safe practices.

    4 Steps to Register

    1. Train your frontline staff and volunteers using the training video in the best practices for COVID-19 safety. Link to video

    2. Apply the Universal Measures to your organization's COVID-19 practices. Link to universal measures.

    3. Develop your own plan for safe practices and publish it online. VLAA has an excellent resource on developing a plan with samples here. Also use STLartsresources.org and existing plans on Missouri ArtSafe for reference.

    4. Register for Missouri ArtSafe Certification.

Once your organization is accepted, you may promote your efforts to create safely, present safely, and attend safely with the Missouri ArtSafe logo and designation.

For more information, please contact missouriartsafe@ltgov.mo.gov or 314-340-4740. You do not need to be a grant recipient to be included in the Missouri ArtSafe Registry.
