This form is designed for applicants who wish to engage with a limited amount of informal studies that runs roughly in parallel with some of the learning opportunities of the MA Language, Community and Development, but without gaining academic credit.
That is designed to develop students’ systematic understanding of language, community and culture, their ability to relate this to relevant disciplines, including social science and theological disciplines, and thereby to enable them to engage in various professional vocations including literacy, Scripture Engagement, field linguistics, language programme management and bible translation. If you would like to learn more about that programme’s aims and therefore about the types of learning opportunities that we provide, you can find them laid out in full in MA programme specification, here:

- A passport-style photograph, ready to upload.
- A list of your previous education and employment details.
- A written statement, describing which learning opportunities you would like to access and why.
Please also remember that we’re unable to sponsor students who require Tier 4 visas. However, you may be able to study here on 6-month visitor visa.
