    Fashion shows have long been one of the most celebrated spectacles in the fashion industry. Each year, editors, buyers, stylists, designers, and influencers gather during Fashion Week to experience new collections, build connections, and celebrate both the glamour and dedication that drive the industry forward. Runway shows have a proven ability to generate excitement, spark conversation, and reach audiences in ways few other platforms can.

  • Acadiana Fashion Week exists to create unforgettable fashion experiences that inspire confidence, creativity, and community. Through art, design, and Louisiana culture, we provide a platform where designers, models, and creatives feel seen, celebrated, and empowered.

  • Acadiana Fashion Week encourages designers to focus solely on their collections and overall show production.

    Designer Fee: $250 (non-refundable), due upon approval.
    Designers showcasing during Kids Night will have their fee waived.

    What’s Included:

    Models provided
    Hair and makeup team provided
    10–12 looks per designer
    Photos of each look


    Music, hair, and makeup selections due by June 1

    Designers are selected based on readiness, professionalism, and collection completion. Submission does not guarantee placement.

     

  • Designer Terms & Conditions
    By submitting this application and participating in Acadiana Fashion Week (AFW), designers agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Fees & Payments
    All designer fees are due upon acceptance unless otherwise stated. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Designers selected to showcase during Kids Night will have their fee waived. Failure to submit payment by the stated deadline may result in removal from the lineup.

    2. Participation & Attendance
    Designers must arrive on time for all scheduled fittings, rehearsals, and show days. Designers are required to be present at the venue at the designated call time on their assigned show date. Arrival more than 45 minutes late may result in cancellation of participation without refund.

    3. Collection Requirements
    Designers must present a completed collection consisting of 10–12 looks unless otherwise approved by the AFW team. All garments must be finished and runway-ready. Designers are responsible for the quality, fit, and preparation of their garments.

    4. Models & Fittings
    Only official AFW models are permitted to walk in the shows. Designers are responsible for coordinating fittings with their assigned models and ensuring proper garment fit prior to show day.

    5. Creative Direction & Production
    Designers will submit music selections, hair and makeup direction, and any special production requests by the designated deadline. AFW reserves the right to make final decisions regarding show order, production, and overall event coordination.

    6. Media & Promotion
    By participating in AFW, designers grant permission for their brand, garments, and runway images to be photographed and recorded for promotional and marketing use across AFW platforms, media outlets, and future materials.

    7. Professional Conduct
    Designers agree to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward staff, models, volunteers, and fellow participants. AFW reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive or unprofessional.

    8. Right to Refuse or Remove
    Acadiana Fashion Week reserves the right to accept or decline any designer application and to remove a designer from participation if guidelines are not followed.
