  • 2022 Mortar Board National Conference Registration Form

  • The in-person 2022 Mortar Board National Conference will be held Friday, August 12 through Sunday, August 14, 2022 in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. ANY conference participant can use this form to register!

  • Delegates: Each Mortar Board chapter sends a chapter delegate to learn how to more effectively run the chapter, develop professional skills, connect with Mortar Boards across the country, and vote on important and official Society business. The official delegate's attendance is covered by the chapter's payment of the annual chapter conference fee ($350). 

    Advisors and Other chapter members: Additional chapter participants AND advisors are strongly encouraged to attend! Sessions will focus on topics relevant to all Mortar Boards regardless of role within the chapter with role specific sessions including professional development sessions and advisor training / resource sharing sessions.
    Use this form to register and pay the additional collegiate participant fee or the advisor registration fee of $350. 

    The $350 helps cover:

    • Rooming for two nights (Friday and Saturday, in a double occupancy room)
    • Meals (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast)
    • Programming and conference material

    **Please do not make your own hotel reservation. We will be reserving all rooms for Mortar Board attendees.

  • The delegate's registration is covered by the chapter's payment of the annual conference fee. This is sometimes covered in full by the chapter's local dues, fundraising, or paid for by the institution. It should be paid around the same time as the chapter's submission of the Official Membership Report (OMR). 

    If the chapter wishes to pay for its conference fee now, select "2022 Chapter Conference Fee" from the payment options at the end of this registration.

  • Welcome Mortar Board alumni! Alumni participants will look forward to a full access experience that includes concurrent conference sessions, meals, keynotes and other receptions, and lodging in the Mortar Board hotel room block at Little Rock Marriott.

    • The registration for full access is $400 for a shared room with another alumni member.
    • The single room upgrade is $90/night, which can be purchased in this registration form. 
    • If you do not need a room in the Mortar Board room block, the cost is $250.

    Do you plan on joining for just Saturday? Saturday-only registration is $150 and includes:

    • National Citation Luncheon and Keynote Speaker
    • Candlelight Banquet with pre-banquet reception
    • President's Reception
    • Drink ticket

    Guests of alumni members are welcome to join the Saturday activities and can be registered here for $150.

  • Welcome Mortar Board National Leaders!

    National Leaders (Council members, Board of Trustees, and Section Coordinators) participants will arrive in time for meetings and networking on Thursday, August 11. Meetings will continue on Friday, August 12 prior to the official start of MBNC 2022. Once the conference begins, you can look forward to a full access experience that includes the Business Meeting, National Citation Luncheon, Candlelight Banquet, and various receptions and meals alongside other members during concurrent conference sessions, meals, keynotes and other receptions. Lodging will be in the Mortar Board hotel room block at Little Rock Marriott.

    **Please do not make your own hotel reservation. We will be reserving all rooms for Mortar Board attendees. 

    The registration for National Leaders is complementary. Thank you for your service to Mortar Board! We can’t wait to see you in person!

    • You will have a complementary shared room with another National Leader. 
    • If you would like to pay for a single room upgrade, the cost is $90/night, which can be purchased at a later time. 
    • If you would like to bring a guest, we ask that they pay the Saturday-only  registration rate of $150 to help cover costs. This includes:
      • National Citation Luncheon and Keynote Speaker
      • Candlelight Banquet with pre-banquet reception
      • President's Reception
      • Drink ticket 

    If your guests would like to attend other meals, or another portion of the MBNC2022 conference, please reach out to the National Office to make arrangements. 

    Guest reservations will be made at a later date.

    Please note: National Leaders will be asked to fill out a “Travel and Lodging Form” at a later time. Should you request a single room upgrade, early or late hotel accommodations, or guest registrations, you will be able to purchase those add-ons at that time.     Please indicate if you are interested in the following roles during conference
  • During the National Conference, you have the opportunity to sit on a committee or to run for the position of student representative on the Mortar Board National Council.

    The Student Representative candidates must commit to being present during all of conference and submit a statement of interest prior to conference. The Student Representative-at-Large for the National Council is a 2-year term as a voting member of the Mortar Board National Council. More information can be found on the Mortar Board website. Note: Candidates must commit to being present during all of the conference and submit a statement of interest prior to the conference. Interviews will be conducted (by Zoom) prior by the Nominating Committee prior conference. The nominating committee will select candidates to present to the delegation for a vote during the conference.

    The Conference Nominating and Credentials Committee coordinates the operation of the nominations process and the balloting for student representative at-large. Members of the committee are responsible for accounting of delegates and maintaining voting integrity.

    This committee also coordinates the presentation and election of the candidates for student representative at-large presentation to the delegation.

    The Conference Committee on Resolutions and Recommendations receives resolutions and recommendations from the delegation to help guide the future development of the Society. The committee will present their resolutions and recommendations at the Business Meeting. This committee must plan to meet at least twice during the conference to gather recommendations and prepare a cogent presentation to the delegation.

    What is covered by the conference fee:

    • Mortar Board covers two nights at double occupancy (Friday and Saturday nights). 
    • Some meals are included. These are Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast.

    Collegiate participants are matched with other collegiate participants. If a single room is requested, the cost is an additional $180.00 for Friday and Saturday nights. 

    If your travel plans require an early Thursday arrival, the cost for a double occupancy room Thursday night is $90 and a single occupancy room is $180.

  • Special Accommodation: The Mortar Board National Office will contact you soon to learn how we can best accommodate you to allow for a rich and rewarding conference experience. Requests made close to the time of conference may not be able to be met, so please submit this form as early as possible.

  • During conference, collegiate and alumni members may have the option to visit The Clinton Presidential Library & Museum prior to the start of conference. We will follow up with those who indicate interest to confirm plans. The tour is made available through the efforts of our organizers and local alumni. There may be a small cost associated with admission or lunch.

  • If you would like to make a contribution towards Adopt-A-Chapter and/or Adopt-A-Delegate, please note the donation link in your confirmation email. Upon donating, we will follow up to share with you a list of chapters who are in need so you can sponsor a specific chapter.

    A donation of $700 dollars will help cover the cost for one collegiate member and one advisor from a chapter. A donation of $350 dollars will help send one student to conference. Note: Any donation level will help chapters in need attend the conference.
