  • The 2025 Mortar Board National Conference will be held on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20. The 2025 National Conference will be entirely virtual, held both days from 2pm-6pm Eastern / 1pm-5pm Central / Noon-4pm Mountain / 11am-3pm Pacific / 8am-Noon Hawaiian.

    Priority Registration Deadline: June 30*

    *Registrations after June 30 will still be accepted, however, attendees may not receive the pre-conference materials in time for the conference.


  • Collegiate Chapters (Members & Advisors)

    Please read below regarding registration information.
  • Conference Registration Fee

    Conference registration is covered by the chapter's payment of the annual chapter fee/conference fee ($350). This is sometimes covered in full by the chapter's local dues, fundraising, or paid for by the institution. It should be paid when the chapter submits the Official Membership Report (OMR). 

    If the chapter wishes to pay its annual chapter/conference fee now, select "2025 Chapter/Conference Fee" from the payment options at the end of this registration.

    More information on applying for "Adopt-a-Chapter" conference support funds is below.

    Note: Each chapter can register an unlimited number of participants. However, conference registration materials and t-shirts will be limited to 5 members per chapter as part of the registration and annual chapter fee. 

  • National Leaders

  • Welcome Mortar Board National Leaders!

    National Leaders (Council members, Board of Trustees, and Region Coordinators, and Standing Committee members) may have meetings in the weeks proceeding National Conference to prepare; we'll be in touch about meetings well in advance. 

    Once the conference begins, you can look forward to a full-access experience that includes the Business Meeting, National Citation Presentation and Keynote Speaker, Virtual Candlelight Banquet, and various concurrent conference sessions, speakers, and breakouts with other national leaders, alumni, and our collegiate members. 

    Registration for National Leaders is complimentary. Thank you for your service to Mortar Board! We can’t wait to have your participation.

  • Welcome Mortar Board Alumni!

    Alumni participants will look forward to a tailored alumni experience that includes concurrent conference sessions, keynotes, and virtual receptions.

    This year, conference registration is free for alumni members.

    Each year, all chapters pay a $350 Chapter Fee / Conference Fee to support national programs and initiatives including National Conference. Chapters must be in good financial standing to send a voting delegate to conference. Many chapters could use financial assistance to help cover these fees. If you would like to make a donation to support a chapter's attendance at conference, we'd greatly appreciate your donation later on this form.

  • Conference Materials

    All conference attendees will receive a t-shirt and Mortar Board gear after the conference.
  • Special Accommodation: The Mortar Board National Office will contact you soon to learn how we can best accommodate you to allow for a rich and rewarding conference experience. Requests made close to the time of the conference may not be able to be met, so please submit this form as early as possible. 

  • Conference Options for Collegiate Members

    Please indicate if you are interested in the following roles during conference. More information regarding student leadership roles will be emailed prior to conference.
  • STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE AT-LARGE

    The Student Representative-at-Large for the National Council is a one-year term as a voting member of the Mortar Board National Council. Responsibilities include: 

    • Participation in the National Conference (in-person during even years, virtual during odd), the Special National Conference (virtual each January), and the National Leadership Summit (odd years)
    • Attendance at monthly meetings (virtual)
    • Participation in national initiatives such as Mortar Board Week and National Virtual Initiations
    • Cultivate relationships with Mortar Board collegiate members through programs, conversations, social media, and other modes
    • Serve on Standing Committees
    • Advocate for collegiate members in all matters
    • Be a champion for Mortar Board Inc.
    • Uphold the values of Mortar Board

    STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD

    The Student Advisory Board members provide guidance and support to the Student Representatives at-Large and the National Society, and each elected representative will serve as the voice of students for their region. This is a one-year term. *This is an elected position. Elections will take place during conference.

    CONFERENCE COMMITTEES

    The Conference Nominating and Credentials Committee coordinates the operation of the nominations process and the balloting for Student Representative at-large and the Student Advisory Board. Committee members are responsible for the accounting of delegates and maintaining voting integrity. This committee also coordinates the presentation and election of the candidates for Student Representative at-large presentation to the delegation. This committee also has the opportunity post-conference (at the discretion of committee members) to work with the Standing Nominations Committee throughout the year to help recruit and select leadership to run for positions of the National Council.

    The Conference Committee on Resolutions and Recommendations receives resolutions and recommendations from the delegation to help guide the future development of the Society. The committee will present its resolutions and recommendations at the Business Meeting. This committee must plan to meet at least twice during the conference to gather recommendations and prepare a cogent presentation to the delegation. This committee also has the opportunity post-conference (at the discretion of individual committee members) to work with the Governance Committee to receive changes to the Mortar Board National Bylaws. Voting on proposed bylaws changes occurs twice a year, and only student delegates cast a vote.
