Weisblum has worked as a Middle Eastern affairs consultant in Washington, DC, and is frequently called to voice his thoughts on social and political topics on a variety of TV talk shows. Weisblum volunteered for the Israeli Defense Forces, served in the special air corps, and finished his military career as a commissioned officer with the rank of Major in the Israeli Army during his ten years in Israel.

Education
Weisblum studied computer science at the Ofrim Institute in Israel and attended Yeshivat Torat Emet in Haifa, Israel. He got a Master of Public/Business Administration and Management with honors from Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey after coming to the United States. He also holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Baltimore Hebrew University (with honors) (now Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University).

"Table Talk Biblical Questions and Answers" and "Ruth Talk" are two of his seven volumes on Jewish philosophy and history. His columns appear weekly in 17 newspapers across the Northeastern United States and Canada, including the "Garden City News" and the "Great Neck Record." "House of Bread," his screenplay, has been sold to 20th Century Pictures and is currently in pre-production.
Weisblum has received various writing honors, including the Sidney Breitbart Prize in Jewish philosophy from Baltimore Hebrew University, the Keren Zikaron Award for writing, and the Golden Prize in Writing from Haifa, Israel.
He enjoys composing and performing music, sailing, baseball, and spending time with his growing family, which includes his five children and 17 grandchildren when he is not working.
