Hi! Welcome to MOSS Studio 🌿

MOSS is a privately-owned hair studio by August — texture-friendly (yes, I genuinely love cutting curly and wavy hair) and an alternative salon, so come in with your creativity. I want to hear what you're picturing.

Since it's just me running things right now, please be mindful of the space — it's private, appointment-based only, and built so every client gets my full attention.

A few things before we get started:

At MOSS Studio, we say yes to what you want — but I may suggest a hairstyle change to suit more realistic expectations, depending on your hair texture and/or any treatments your hair has been through. I'll always talk you through why before we start cutting.

 𝟭. 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 & 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 Slots are subject to availability, and your booking is only confirmed once I've reviewed and approved it. An online payment is required to officially secure your slot – no payment and confirmation means no secured slot, so don't wait too long! The exact studio address and booking confirmation will be sent your way once payment is settled and will appear on the confirmation page.

𝟮. 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 & 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬 Slots are appointment-based only, so to protect your privacy and the next client's time, please wait in the building lobby until your exact appointment time (or while you're waiting for your ride) rather than in the studio itself. Thanks for understanding!

A 15-minute grace period is given for late arrivals. Beyond that, your session may be shortened to protect the next client's appointment, or treated as a no-show if you're unreachable or unable to make it within a reasonable window.

𝟯. 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬 Cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before your appointment are non-refundable. This helps me protect the time I've set aside for you and future clients.

If you do not arrive for your appointment, this is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.

If a reschedule is needed, please advise at least 24 hours before your appointment — otherwise it will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

In the event of natural calamities or genuine emergencies, you may reschedule within 7 days of your original appointment date at no penalty — the artist may ask for proof (e.g. news report, medical certificate, official advisory).

In the event that the artist needs to reschedule, a full refund is due.

𝟰. 𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧 MOSS is a safe space for everyone. Kindness and respect go both ways here, and rude or disrespectful behavior won't be tolerated.

𝟱. 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 I reserve the right to decline or end a session early if a client is behaving inappropriately. This is rare, but it's here to keep the space safe and comfortable for everyone.
