  • Students (not parents) are required to complete and submit this online application in its entirety for scholarship consideration.  This application, in addition to a completed FACTs application (submitted by parent ), allows a student to be eligible for consideration for ALL need based scholarships available.

    1. When you think of the people in your life that know you the best, what 3 attributes do you think they would use to describe you and why?

    2. Leadership is important because it inspires, motivates, and sets an example for others to accomplish positive things. Leadership can manifest itself in many ways. Describe a time or way in which you have demonstrated your leadership ability whether in or out of school.

    3. Share about someone in your life who has inspired or influenced you in an important way. How did they impact you and how has that made a difference in your life

    4. Lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can often be fundamental to later success or resolution. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback or an obstacle. How did it affect you and what did you learn from the experience?

    5. A key element to the success of Marist is the sense of community, which is integral to its motto ‘We Are One’. When reflecting on this community, what does it mean to you to attend Marist? How do you see yourself contributing to, and gaining from the Marist  community?

    Optional: Only required to complete if you wish to be considered for the "Cody Waters 'Heart of a Champion' Memorial Scholarship". (Preference given to individuals with financial need that are participating in Boys Soccer.)

    Cody Waters was a student at Marist from September 1995 until his unexpected death in December 1995.  He made a lasting impression on both classmates and teachers.  In 2014, his parents established this scholarship to honor his memory.
