  • From pencils and crayons to drones, books, and field trips, if it enriches learning in your classroom, we want to help you make it happen. The Moore Public Schools Foundation is here to support the real, everyday needs of teachers and students, whether you are dreaming up something creative or simply trying to stock the basics.

Through the MPSF Classroom Enrichment Grant, all Moore Public Schools teachers and certified staff can request up to $1,000 in one of three categories:

    Resource
Funding for essential supplies, new equipment, manipulatives, classroom technology, and educational materials.

    Program
Support for special programs like guest speakers, student workshops, subscriptions, or other creative learning experiences.

    Opportunity
Assistance for field trips and hands-on experiences that help students explore, discover, and learn beyond the classroom.

    Important Things to Know

    • Each teacher may submit one application for up to $1,000 total.
    • Please request only what you need. An itemized budget and a brief rationale for each item are required.
    • Applications may be submitted individually or as a team at the same school site.
    • Any physical materials purchased through this grant belong to Moore Public Schools. If you transfer to another MPS site, items may move with you only with principal approval and notification to MPSF.
    • Teacher professional development is not eligible for funding.
    • MPSF cannot fund items already fulfilled through DonorsChoose.
    • Applications must be submitted through the online form. Paper or email submissions cannot be accepted. If you need accommodations, please contact MPSF and we will work with you.
  • Policies & Procedures
Before you submit your application, please take a moment to review the guidelines below. They’re here to help you feel confident and supported throughout the process.

    Who Can Apply
All Moore Public Schools teachers are welcome to apply. Certified staff: counselors, therapists, speech pathologists, media specialists, and others are also encouraged. Administrators may apply during the Spring 2026 cycle. If you’re unsure about eligibility, reach out to us.

    What We Fund
Your project should directly support student learning and/or enrichment. At this time, MPSF cannot fund teacher workshops or professional development. Projects must align with MPS best practices and grade‑level/subject standards.

All items must be approved by your principal or curriculum coordinator, and any software or technology must also be approved by MPS Technology.

You may request up to $1,000. Thoughtful, cost‑effective proposals help us stretch our dollars to support as many classrooms as possible.

    Deadline
Applications close September 18 at 11:59 PM. Late or emailed applications can’t be accepted. If you run into technical issues, contact Lizzy at lizzy@mooreschoolsfoundation.org or call/text 918‑202‑4333.

    Save Your Work
Please save a copy of your application for your records. We recommend drafting in Word or Google Docs first — it makes editing easier and helps prevent accidental loss of work.

    How Your Application Is Scored
We care about the impact of your idea, not fancy writing. Clear and simple is perfect.

    1. Student Impact (most important)

    How students will benefit
    The need your project addresses
    The goals it supports
    2. Project Plan

How you’ll carry out the project
    Expected outcomes
    Alignment with MPSF’s mission
    3. Clarity & Budget

    A straightforward, accurate budget
Bullet points and short explanations are welcome

    When You’ll Hear Back
Grant recipients will be announced by October 9, 2026. We’ll visit your school to celebrate, and your financial secretary will receive the check so you can get started quickly.

    How Grants Are Reviewed
Your application is read by volunteers from a variety of industries. Some may not have an education background, so:

    Avoid jargon
    Explain acronyms or special programs
Leave out identifying information from your narratives.
All reviewers receive training to ensure fairness and consistency.

    How Funding Is Distributed
If funded, your grant dollars go directly to your financial secretary, who will handle purchasing and vendor payments. Funds must be used by the end of the 2026–2027 school year. Final reports are due June 1, 2027. If your grant is funded, we will send you a form to complete as your grant report

    Purchasing Your Items
Work closely with your financial secretary. MPSF does not cover local shipping or sales tax, so plan accordingly. All purchasing must follow school policy. If you need an alternative purchasing method, MPSF can help — just ask.

    Who Keeps the Materials
All materials purchased with grant funds stay within Moore Public Schools. If you transfer to another MPS site, you may take the materials with approval from the principal of the site where you originally received the items and MPSF staff. Please notify us of any material transfers via email.
If you leave the district, the items stay at your school or go to a curriculum coordinator for redistribution.

    Final Report
A final report is required for every funded grant. If your grant is funded you will receive a link to a form that will serve as your final report. It is a simple narrative report that shouldn't take much time to complete. This report will  be due June 1, 2027.

If you run into any issues, we’re here to help.

    Policy Reminder
Not following these guidelines or missing the final report deadline may affect eligibility for future grants.

  • Each MPSF Enrichment Grant may fund up to $1,000 in materials, supplies, programming, or experiences.

If your project exceeds this amount, you are encouraged to seek additional funding (e.g., PTA, principal’s activity account, local businesses or civic groups, or a private donor). If you have secured additional support, you may list the full project cost in your itemized budget. If not, please ensure your request remains within the $1,000 limit.

  • You must submit a complete, accurate, itemized budget. Incomplete, vague, or inconsistent budgets may result in disqualification or follow‑up from MPSF. Prices should be exact (not rounded); we understand online costs may fluctuate.

    For each item, include:

    • Vendor Name
    • Item Name
    • Quantity
    • Item Cost (exact)
    • Total Cost (Item Cost × Quantity)
    • Direct Link (if available)
    • Submit your budget in the text box below. You may copy/paste from a spreadsheet and include a wishlist/registry link if available.

    Do not include:

    • Tax
    • Unapproved or unrelated items
    • DonorsChoose items

All items must come from MPS‑approved vendors. If your vendor is not approved, contact your financial secretary early to begin the process. Reach out to your financial secretary or MPSF with questions or to discuss alternatives. Shipping or installation fees must be included when applicable.

Field Trip Grants: You must use MPS transportation. Current rate: $22/hour per driver (3‑hour minimum). A standard bus holds 40–45 students (more for younger grades). If rates change before implementation, notify MPSF. Be sure to include all field trip costs.
