MOUNTAIN POST SANTA’S WORKSHOP (MPSW) 2025 APPLICATION

Thank you so much for your interest in submitting an application for the 2025 MPSW Season.

Information to keep in mind:

All applications must be received by 2359 (11:59pm MST) 14 November 2025 to be eligible for consideration. It is best to complete this application from a computer. If you need assistance applying, please email mpsws.applications@gmail.com or call 719-650-1937 to make an appointment to visit our Workshop in person. All applications, information, and identities are kept confidential. MPSW has final approval of all applications. MPSW provides gifts for children between the biological ages of 0 months - 12 years old (must be between these ages as of 25 December 2025).

Documentation: 

 If you are pregnant with a due date prior to 25 December 2025 you may shop for your baby. We will just need a note due date verification from your provider. You may upload this under the DD 1172-2 portion of the application.This is a needs-based program and is not defined by rank. You will include financial need information in your application. Please have ALL documentation -- including a current #1 LES or Soldier Talent Profile and #2 DD form 1172-2 -- ready and available to upload with your application. If you submit any other documentation in place of the current LES or Soldier Talent Profile and/or the DD form 1172-2, your submission will not be eligible for consideration.We cannot accept documentation outside of this application, so please only complete the application when you have the correct forms available to upload. 

What happens next:

Once all applications are reviewed, decision emails will be sent out after applications close. You will receive a decision by November 23, 2025. If approved, your email notification will include a link to sign up for your MPSW shopping appointment. *Please check your SPAM folders* We will also send out a reminder email a week before shopping week, as well as the day prior to your shopping day. Tentative shopping week dates are as follows: December 8th- December 13th. We will add availability on a case-by-case basis for families who cannot shop during the above dates.

I understand that Mountain Post Santa's Workshop (MPSW) is not able to accommodate specific shopping date and time requests outside of the designated "shopping week" dates and times listed, and MPSW cannot reschedule your shopping date and time unless there is a documented emergency.  If I fail to arrive at the assigned date and time, I WILL miss my opportunity to shop. 

 
I understand that here will be NO children, family members or friends permitted in the workshop under any circumstances.  I must coordinate my own childcare; MPSW will not have volunteers to assist with this.  I understand the Service Member and/or spouse may only come through the workshop to select gifts for their family ONCE at the appointed date and time for my family and will not be permitted reentry. 

I understand that if Service Member nor spouse is available during shopping week for any reason, I may designate a "shopper" to shop in my/our place. I must inform MPSW, IN WRITING (email mpsws.applications@gmail.com), with the designated individual's name and contact information as soon as possible. Any person(s) shopping during my scheduled time (whether it is Service Member, spouse, or designated individual), must bring a valid photo ID to show MPSW team before permitted entry to MPSW.

 
I understand that if application is accepted, MPSW does not have the capabilities to deliver or ship toys/books/games to families. Service member, spouse, or designated shopper must travel to MPSW on Fort Carson to shop in person during assigned shopping time, and take toys/books/games with him/her/them at the time of the appt.

 
I understand that if my application is accepted, and I checked the box stating interest in a PHONE shopping date and time, that I am not guaranteed to be granted this type of shopping appointment and will have to then shop in-person.

I understand that if my application is accepted, and I am granted a PHONE shopping date and time, MPSW does not have the capabilities to ship the toys/books/games chosen, nor deliver, and I will have to arrange a pick-up time at MPSW within the next 24 hours, during shopping hours. Furthermore, the pick-up person will also have to be the Service Member or Spouse, or a designated "shopper" as stated above, providing that designated person's information to MPSW. 

 
I understand that a PHONE shopping appointment is only a possibility, and IF I am granted a shopping date and time via phone, MPSW would not be able to complete the appointment via FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or any other video chat platform. It would be a voice call over the telephone, with a MPSW Volunteer verbally describing toys to you as you choose your items.

 
I understand that MPSW can only provide gifts for children ages 0 months-12 years as of 25 December 2024 only, and only those enrolled in DEERS. For children who are not born yet, we will accept a letter from your provider with your current due date. 

 
I understand I may only submit one application per military family.

 
I understand that if any necessary field or supporting document is missing from application, application will be automatically denied.

I understand that MPSW will review applications as received, in the order received. Applicants will receive a decision email within 5-10 business days after submission. MPSW will accept applicants who meet the requirements until MPSW has accepted the number of children for which we can provide toys based on donations received this year. If application is submitted after November 15, 2024, at 11:59pm MST, application will be automatically denied.

I understand I may not submit an application to both MPSW and Warriors Warehouse Gift Giveaway.  My application will be denied, and I may not receive gifts from either organization. 

I understand that all information submitted to MPSW is kept confidential and will not be shared outside of program. As such, I agree to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. I will not disclose any person(s) information I see utilizing MPSW services to any other individual.

I understand that I may not solicit for home-based businesses while shopping. 

 
I acknowledge that the goods received during my pre-selected shopping date and time with MPSW are for personal use only and are not intended for resale or for personal monetary gain. If MPSW determines goods were not used for personal use, any such action could result of declination of any and all future applications submitted to the organization. In addition, I agree to release MPSW from all liability that may occur from the use of the goods received and agree that any warranties, registration, and recalls are my personal responsibility to file and utilize.
