Club Coach Accreditation
"Club coach" is the initial accreditation that is issued after a participant successfully attends a Level 1 Motorcycle Sport Coaching Course and fulfil the following:
- Completes the SportsAUS Community Coaching - Essential Skills Course online. https://www.sportaus.gov.au/coaching/course - pre course
- Passes the Practical Coaching Assessment (Assessment Task 2) - during course
- Passes the Session Planner (Assessment Task 1) - post course
Then they must log 20 hours of practical motorcycle coaching, either doing Kickstart Assessments or working with/assisting an accredited L1 or L2 coach so that they can then apply for a Level 1 accreditation upgrade.
Club Coaches can:
- Coach a maximum of 6 riders in a coaching session
- Conduct Kickstart assessments
- Assist Level or 2 coaches
Level 1 Coach Accreditation
"Level 1 Coach" is the accreditation that is issued after a participant successfully attends and passes the Level 1 Motorcycle Sport Coaching Course and fulfil the following:
- Log 20 hours of practical coaching - within 12 months after course
Level 1 Coaches can:
- Conduct Kickstart assessments
- Conduct Junior Coaching endorsement upgrade
- Assist Level 2 coaches and supervise coaching days
- Coach a maximum of 6 riders in a coaching session
- Supervise permitted practice days
- Conduct rider competency assessments
Level 2 Coach Accreditation
"Level 2 Coach" is the accreditation that is issued after a participant has attended a Level 2 Motorcycle Sport Coaching Course and fulfil the following:
- Pass the Practical Coaching Assessment - during course
- Pass the Motorcycling Specific take home assessments - within 1 month after course
- Undertake 40 hours practical motorcycle coaching (10 hours supervised) - within 12 months after course
Level 2 Coaches can:
- Conduct Kickstart assessments
- Conduct Junior Coaching endorsement upgrade
- Conduct general coaching sessions
- Utilise Level 1 accredited coaches as assistants
- Coach a maximum of 15 ruders, with an additional 10 riders per Level 1 assistant.
- Supervise permitted practice days
- Conduct rider compentency assessment
