Mr. Kitty’s Cat Cafe, LLC strives to provide the best care for all our feline guests. The following policies ensure that every cat receives quality care in a healthy and safe environment.
Admission
• All cats must be in good health, well-mannered, and at least 16 weeks of age.
• We reserve the right to deny admittance to any cat for any reason, including but not limited to signs of aggression, inappropriate behavior, physical limitations, or potentially contagious conditions.
• We may charge additional handling fees for excessively difficult or aggressive cats requiring extra staff attention and/or additional cleaning services.
Vaccinations
• All cats must be current on vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination before their stay.
• The State of Wisconsin requires all cats to have a Rabies vaccination unless a medical exemption is provided.
Food
• Owners must provide their cat’s food to maintain dietary consistency and ensure a smooth transition between home and boarding.
Medications
• Medication administration is available for $3 per day.
• All medications must be clearly labeled with the cat’s name, the name of the medication, dosage, and reason for administration.
• Owners must provide pill pockets if needed. Additional fees may apply for complex medication administration.
Check-In & Check-Out
• Late drop-offs or pick-ups may be subject to an additional fee.
• Boarding fees are charged per day, not per night.
• Drop-off: A full-day charge applies regardless of whether drop-off is in the morning or afternoon, as we reserve the space for your cat.
• Pick-up: No charge applies if you pick up between 9–10 AM (Monday–Sunday). A full-day charge applies for pick-ups between 5–6 PM.
Example Charges
• Friday to Saturday PM = 2 boarding days
• Friday to Sunday PM = 3 boarding days
Minimum Fees
• A 2-day minimum charge applies for weekends from October through May.
• A 3-day minimum charge applies for weekends from June through September, as well as holidays and spring break (March).
• We may require a non-refundable deposit to secure reservations.
• Additional premium fees may apply for holidays and peak seasons.
• Prices are subject to change at any time.
Cancellations & Schedule Changes
• Cancellations: A minimum of 5 days' notice is required for cancellations. If notice is not given, the minimum boarding fee (2 or 3 days depending on the season) will apply.
• Changing Dates: Changes to drop-off or pick-up dates/times must be made at least 3 days prior to check-in. Otherwise, the owner will be charged for the full stay as originally scheduled.
Holidays
• Holiday hours may be limited, and we may be closed to the public on certain holidays.
Damages
• Any property damaged by a cat during their stay will be repaired or replaced at the owner's expense.
Emergencies
• In case of an emergency, we will attempt to contact the owner and emergency contact.
• If neither can be reached, we will seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
• All emergency-related costs are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Payment
• Payment is due at check-in.
• We prefer cash or check to help keep costs down.
• Returned checks are subject to a $35 service fee.
