  • New College Boutique Recruitment Services to Connect with Top Talent! - Employer Request Form

    Complete this form if you're interested in taking advantage of one of our boutique recruitment services offerings. For most services, we can accommodate virtual and in-person options. It is recommended that organizations complete this form at least 4-5 weeks prior to the interview or event to allow time to promote and/or recruit candidates. A member of our Recruiter Relations team will contact you once you complete this form to discuss your goals. Please allow 5-7 business days for processing.
  • 1.) Individualized Recruitment Strategy Consultation - Get 1:1 coaching on recruiting at New College, including relevant events, and we can come up with a plan together. Register for our upcoming recruitment events here.

  • 2.) Customized Internships for Employer Partners - Recruit our students as interns. We can help you build out a program or position, and a recruitment strategy that works best for your organization. 

    You can hire an intern(s) during our Fall, January Interterm or Independent Study Period (ISP), Spring, or Summer (Academic Calendar).

    Options for for-credit academic internships include:

    • Half-term internship = 60 hours
    • Full-term internship = 120 hours
    • Short-term project during January (ISP) = 120 hours
    • Expanded internship = 180 hours

    We encourage all employers to pay their interns as a best practice and this will increase the number of potential candidates for your internship.

  • 3.) Professional Resume Collection - We will post your opportunities to our job platform and collect resumes for your open positions. We currently use Handshake and it is free for employers to create an account. You will receive those resumes via email and can follow-up with candidates.

    4.) On-Campus Interviews with Dedicated Space & Support - Schedule a day to conduct interviews in-person or virtually. We will provide an interview room within our center for you and the students.

    We also offer pre-screen interviews for general career readiness and professionalism.

  • 5.) Job Shadow & Employer Visit Days -  Schedule an in-person or virtual visit for our students to learn more about your organization, roles, and opportunities.

    Organizations should plan for a tour, overview, introductions to members of the team, and observation and/or details of specific roles. Organizations who host this event receive staff support for recruiting participants and increased brand awareness from the shadow day being added to the career center's events calendar.

  • 6.) Specialized Mentorship Initiatives -  Serve as a mentor in an informal, on-demand capacity or in our formal New College Mentorship Program for second-year students.

    • We also have one-off events, such as panel discussions where you can share your expertise.
  • 7.) Team Meeting Visit - Introduce your organization in-person or virtually (up to 30 mins) to our career services team, which take place on Thursdays from 8:30-10:30 am.


    8.) Campus Tabling - Come to campus during peak hours to engage with students at the Hamilton Student Center. Organizations who table on campus receive staff support for setup, and increased visibility and brand awareness by tabling in our Hamilton Student Center during meal times.

  • Campus Tabling or Career Center Team Meeting Visit

    Complete this form if you're interested in tabling on our campus or visiting a career center team meeting. We can accommodate virtual and in-person visits to our team meetings, and guests will get to speak for up to 30 mins with career coaches and career center staff who work with our students on a daily basis. Organizations who table on campus receive staff support for setup, and increased visibility and brand awareness by tabling in our Hamilton Student Center during meal times. It is recommended that organizations complete this form 4 weeks prior to allow time to plan and promote the campus visit.   • In-Person or Virtual Career Trek & Job Shadow Days

    Complete this form if you're interested in hosting an in-person or virtual tour and shadow day for students. Organizations should plan for a tour, overview, introductions to members of the team, and observation and/or details of specific roles. Organizations who host this event receive staff support for recruiting participants and increased brand awareness from the shadow day being added to the career center's events calendar. It is recommended that organizations complete this form 4 weeks prior to allow time to plan and promote the shadow day.     Complete this form if you're interested in interviewing on campus or collecting resumes for a specific position. We can accommodate virtual and in-person interviewing. Organizations who interview on campus receive staff support for recruiting candidates and increased brand awareness from the interviewing day or resume drop being added to the career center's events calendar. It is recommended that organizations complete this form a minimum of 4 weeks prior to conducting interviews to allow time to recruit candidates.
