    Dr. Joanna Kaczorowska is internationally acclaimed for her virtuosity and impeccable artistry and has performed as a soloist and in combination with today’s leading artists including the Emerson String Quartet, Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Michael Tilson Thomas, and David Robertson. She has performed in every major concert hall, both here and abroad, including more than 30 concerts in Carnegie Hall, concerts in Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Beethoven-Haus in Germany, and at many major music festivals including Music at Menlo, Aspen, and Tanglewood. Joanna has won much acclaim and many prestigious prizes and awards at numerous international competitions, including First Prize in the 2009 Liszt-Garrison Festival & International Piano Competition. Recently, Joanna was invited to perform on a PBS television special with Dr. Brian Greene, noted physicist, best-selling author, and director of the World Science Festival, playing Bach’s Chaconne as an integral part of Dr. Greene’s show, Light Falls: Space, Time, and an Obsession of Einstein (now available on Audible). She is also a featured artist performing in both the opening and the main soundtrack of the critically acclaimed movie, Four Journeys, winner at many international film festivals. Joanna performed at the United Nations conference in New York, organized and presented by Dr. Stephen Post, in a session focused on Peace, Tolerance, and Human Rights. This event and performance were featured in Dr. Post’s recent Amazon best-selling book “God and Love on Route 80: The Hidden Mystery of Human Connectedness.” Kaczorowska has presented talks about mentorship, personal growth, inspiration, and achievement in many prestigious conferences including Renaissance Weekend and TEDxSBU. Joanna is the Director of performance and violin professor at Stony Brook University and for Carnegie Hall’s Professional Training Workshops, a distinguished judge, and an avid advocate of bringing music to underserved communities. Stony Brook University honored Joanna by awarding her with the inaugural 40 Under Forty Alumni Award, honoring their brightest and most innovative alumni. Kaczorowska is a published journalist and art critic, as well as the founder and Artistic Director of New York Chamber Musicians. Her violin was made by Lukas Wronski.
