P2-P6 After School Care

After School Care is available from 3:30–5:30pm, each day for our primary students. Our counsellors have a wealth of experience caring for youngsters and are very enthusiastic about making our After School Care Programme an exciting and comfortable environment for the children.

The activities will include arts and crafts, outdoor games, supervision of homework, fun with food, special projects, music appreciation, nature walks and free play.

Guidelines:

All children are expected to follow the directions and requests of the After School Care counsellors.
Children must check in with the counsellors on duty when they arrive in After School Care and parents must sign their child out upon leaving.
Children must stay in the area where supervision is taking place. Under no circumstances may children wander through the school or in unsupervised areas on the school grounds. We ask that children let the supervisor know when they go to the bathroom.
If your child is attending an extracurricular programme and is required to attend the After School Care programme once finished, please send in a note to the teacher and After School Care provider.
If there is a change in who will be picking up your child, please call the After School Care phone (536-0823) and leave a message. The supervisor will check all messages at the beginning of After School Care each day. Remember that your child must be signed out regardless of who will be picking them up.

Children must be picked up no later 5:30 pm. There will be a late charge of $2.00 per minute. Late fees will be charged to you through the Accounts office.

The programme will start the first day of school and take place every day until the end of the academic year except during school breaks.

The After School Care main area is located on the top porch outside of the Library. If there is any change to the pick up location notice will be made on the sign clipped to the gate.
